  1. Id recommend getting Audi to take a look at it for peace of mind if nothing else
  2. You might have to break the grill to gain access to it.
  3. I'm going to advise against this. The 2.0tfsi is known for piston ring failures and engine failures. Research it on here and on Google.
  4. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 looks a lovely car. And Scotland is beautiful. I did the nc500 4 years ago and loved it. Sorry to hear you've had problems.
  5. Glad it's looking not as bad as first thought.
  6. Usually the issue is the wiring to the seatbelt airbags, have you checked this.
  7. Yes I'd say so. Better safe than sorry for any auto gearbox.
  8. Have you tried eBay?
  9. Unfortunately you're right
  10. You could try eBay. Or contact autoglass or Similar. But it won't be covered under your insurance though.
  11. Has it got a private plate? Or has it been imported from Japan or elsewhere? Private plates don't show up properly on tfl. I'm 95% certain it won't be compliant. To prove it you'll have to contact VW for a certificate of conformity.
  12. It may depend on spec rather than engine. IE is it an se, s line, sport etc. has it got a tech pack etc.
  13. Never seen this before. Has the car got double glazing?
  14. I will be doubtful it's compliant as it's diesel. I think it's a8 D4 facelifts with the 4.2 that's exempt. A petrol d3 you'd have a better chance.
  15. Why would they question you?! My older a 6 has a similar interior colour (platinum grey) and it's lovely.
  16. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 looks a lovely car.
  17. Very nice 👍
  18. Love the interior colour
  19. Sorry to hear you've got this situation.
  20. Has the car got cruise control? Or were you hoping the stalk would give you cruise control? I ask because if it's the latter then it'll.nerd to be coded to the car to make it work.
  21. They are some of the most knowledgeable people out there. Won't work on 2.5tdi V6 engines though as I asked.
  22. You're welcome 🙂
  23. If the ccm is corroded, you might be able to clean the wiring but ultimately it'll need replacing with a part with an identical part number. It usually corrodes as water getting into the cabin.
  24. Sound advice Gareth 🙂
