  1. Think it'll need calibrating.
  2. Think the car tax changed only affect new cars I understand. But happily proven wrong. As Cliff has said service history is key. Proof of cambelt and water pump changes should be seen on cars of that age plus proof of gearbox oil changes etc. Dpf and egr can fail on diesels and are £1k plus bills. The amount of mileage and type of mileage will determine whether petrol or diesel is better for you.
  3. Key coding needs to be done by Audi or a auto locksmith. Search for ones locally.
  4. Not sure but I think it applies to any where you can change driving modes.
  5. Keep us posted on how you get on
  6. Definitely could be a leaking airbag. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  7. Keep us posted on how you get on. If they confirm the car hasn't got b&o I doubt they'll retrofit it as Audi don't do retrofits. Your only option would be to reject the vehicle.
  8. Like you I'd suspect the switch.
  9. You've done the right thing recording it. I'd say an issue with mad sensor but that should throw up a fault code.
  10. I did a post on this:
  11. Glad there's no leak. Be careful not to overfill the engine with oil. Let's hope it's just the service light. If dipstick is normal, but onboard computer saying it's low then most likely the level sensor is faulty.
  12. You could try good old brasso on them to see if it helps.
  13. Glad you got your pay out. Will be interesting to see how the insurance company gets on with their dispute
  14. Is there any smoke from the exhaust? Or any sign of oil leaks? Might be worth placing a piece of cardboard underneath it for a few days to see.
  15. What does the car say the engine oil level is?
  16. Keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  17. I think it was standard with the tech pack. My advice is to ask the dealer selling it. If you want a built in sat nav you'll.wat a car that already has it as activating it can only be done by Audi at a cost of £500-600 at least
  18. Best looking on eBay for a second hand unit.
  19. Yep could be. Glad battery is programmed. Did you check the obd fuse?
  20. What we've seen when people have fitted different seats is if they've tampered either the airbag wires it causes the airbag warning light to illuminate. So the easiest way is to remove the airbags from your current seats and fit them to the new seats. This advice obviously comes a little late for you.
  21. This video might help:
  22. This should help: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/q7-mk-1-discussion-112/c-pillar-trim-removal-3038530/
