  1. Good question. When I had a similar issue with mine it fixed itself after the battery got disconnected whilst other works were being carried out.
  2. Have you got a picture for reference?
  3. Glad you got sorted 🙂 I've had about every possible leak spot on mine lol. Excluding the AC pipe thing, antenna and roof rails
  4. It is a very common issue on vag cars as well as other manufacturers. My wife has a jaguar xe and it's also known for faults. Hence why in our case we get Jag tecs to fill the adblue tank up when it need it with genuine adblue. That way they can't blame us for over filling it or putting wrong fluid in it etc. It has saved us expensive bills twice when the system has gone wrong and Jag have had to drain the tank and reset the system FOC. Even though the car is well out of warranty.
  5. Interesting. I know the service plans I saw when working at VW gearbox oil, brake fluid and AC were all extras.
  6. The fault definitely is annoying, and shouldn't be happening. Please keep us posted on how you get on at the dealers.
  7. Audi are cutting down their model options due to cost. Hence why the A1 and q2 ha e been axed too.
  8. Yea but you could blank it at both ends.
  9. Thanks for the advice, should help others 🙂
  10. Look for a second hand gearbox or get yours rebuilt.
  11. You're most welcome glad this thread helped 🙂
  12. Definitely speak to your dealer. You've already mentioned it but I'd definitely be going down the ebay route.
  13. How long have you had the car? And was it a private or trade sale? It might be worth you speaking to a retrofitted like autologics as it sounds like the climate system hasn't been fitted quite right.
  14. Glad you found the solution and thanks for letting others know 🙂
  15. I'd recommend a stainless steel straight through exhaust, induction kit and then the remap. Obviously you could look at upgraded cams, manifolds etc but is it worth it?
  16. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 I agree with Gareth's advice. The other thing you could do is get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up.
  17. Lol at least if you do the work yourself it'll save on some of the costs.
  18. Is it a remap on a rolling road? Have a look at Celtic tuning website as they show you what gains you can get from their maps which you could use for reference. You might need to also consider a remap on the gearbox.
  19. At least you'll be able to relate more to your customers lol
  20. I think you'll be looking £600 at least to have the timing chain and water pump etc changed.
  21. I'd be taking this back to the garage that did the work as it sounds like it's been misdiagnosed. Could it be a starter motor?
  22. That's good then 🙂 keep us posted on how you get on 👍
  23. Thats interesting. Most service plans on various cars I've had the brake fluid, AC regas and gearbox oil changes were extras. Air filters, pollen filters should be covered under a major service. Spark plugs should be covered too and changed as per the service interval.
