    Clocks

Yea I think they're the same
  2. Keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  3. No probs at all. Yea you might find it just starts working again as it did for me
  4. If you've got intermittent electrical issues then the water could be affecting your Comfort control module (CCM) located under the front passenger footwell carpet. I too are experiencing electrical issues and have a suspicion that waters getting in mine again. Trim and carpet needs to come up to access it. My plan long term once I replace the CCM is to have it relocated to the glovebox.
  5. Could definitely be a sensor. If it's hit or miss then it definitely could be electrical.
  6. No probs. Most garages do I think because of the Christmas break
  7. Can't say I've heard of similar cases. That's a new one on me, the car learning how you drive.
  8. Could it be the exhaust banging on the underside of the car? Or engine or gearbox mounts
  9. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If you take it to Audi I'd expect to see some form of good will on the repair despite being out of warranty
  10. I'd definitely be looking at failing engine or gearbox mounts in my opinion
  11. Glad you got some sort of resolution. Let's hope it is just a clip.
  12. Good question. When I had a similar issue with mine it fixed itself after the battery got disconnected whilst other works were being carried out.
  13. Have you got a picture for reference?
  14. Glad you got sorted 🙂 I've had about every possible leak spot on mine lol. Excluding the AC pipe thing, antenna and roof rails
  15. It is a very common issue on vag cars as well as other manufacturers. My wife has a jaguar xe and it's also known for faults. Hence why in our case we get Jag tecs to fill the adblue tank up when it need it with genuine adblue. That way they can't blame us for over filling it or putting wrong fluid in it etc. It has saved us expensive bills twice when the system has gone wrong and Jag have had to drain the tank and reset the system FOC. Even though the car is well out of warranty.
  16. Interesting. I know the service plans I saw when working at VW gearbox oil, brake fluid and AC were all extras.
  17. The fault definitely is annoying, and shouldn't be happening. Please keep us posted on how you get on at the dealers.
  18. Audi are cutting down their model options due to cost. Hence why the A1 and q2 ha e been axed too.
  19. Yea but you could blank it at both ends.
  20. Thanks for the advice, should help others 🙂
  21. Look for a second hand gearbox or get yours rebuilt.
  22. Please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  23. You're most welcome glad this thread helped 🙂
  24. Definitely speak to your dealer. You've already mentioned it but I'd definitely be going down the ebay route.
  25. How long have you had the car? And was it a private or trade sale? It might be worth you speaking to a retrofitted like autologics as it sounds like the climate system hasn't been fitted quite right.
