  1. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 I agree with Gareth's advice. The other thing you could do is get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up.
  2. Exactly 😊
  3. Lol at least if you do the work yourself it'll save on some of the costs.
  4. Is it a remap on a rolling road? Have a look at Celtic tuning website as they show you what gains you can get from their maps which you could use for reference. You might need to also consider a remap on the gearbox.
  5. At least you'll be able to relate more to your customers lol
  6. I think you'll be looking £600 at least to have the timing chain and water pump etc changed.
  7. I'd be taking this back to the garage that did the work as it sounds like it's been misdiagnosed. Could it be a starter motor?
  8. That's good then 🙂 keep us posted on how you get on 👍
  9. Thats interesting. Most service plans on various cars I've had the brake fluid, AC regas and gearbox oil changes were extras. Air filters, pollen filters should be covered under a major service. Spark plugs should be covered too and changed as per the service interval.
  10. Lol. The thing with Audi's, no matter how cheap they become to buy the bills remain expensive
  11. Might be worth taking a look at the gear linkages as the first port of call. It could also be a synchromesh.
  12. I believe there are companies out there that can fit new LCD screens. Have a look on eBay or Google. You'd have to send your instrument cluster off for the repair.
  13. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 looks a lovely car 👍
  14. You're welcome. There should be a cover on the scuttle panel.
  15. You're best ordering them in pairs. As one old one and one new one could affect the handling.
  16. Is it a remap on a rolling road? Have a look at Celtic tuning website as they show you what gains you can get from their maps which you could use for reference
  17. This could be the issue then. I'd recommend a professional diagnostic check or get an auto electrican to take a look
  18. Could be the turbo?
  19. Passenger side front footwell? If so check pollen filter housing as the housing can split or seal fail.
  20. Audi your best bet for genuine keys. For aftermarket keys speak to an auto locksmith.
  21. Yep gearbox oil changed etc are extra.
  22. Looks great!
  23. Just buy new. Definitely not worth the risk with second hand. Plus It'll depend on spec as to what suspension you have.
  24. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 looks a nice A1 👍 What kind of upgrades are you thinking?
  25. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be an issue with the modules or ballast.
