  1. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up.
  2. It sounds like there's a leak in the system. The noise could be because the powerfluid pump has ran dry. Definitely worth looking for any areas where it's leaked from.
  3. Wondering if the handbrake or brakes are getting stuck on?
  4. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Have you tried the spare key? I ask as that can help narrow down the issue. If both keys are working then the key isn't the culprit.
  5. Is it at an Audi main dealer? Might be worth getting an auto electrican to take a look. I'm wondering if it's an imobilser fault
  6. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  7. Definitely sounds a wiring issue then. Might be worth removing the trim in the boot to inspect the wires
  8. Sorry to hear of your issue. When was the belt last changed? I think It should be every 5 years.
  9. I'm so sorry to hear this news Tony. My thoughts and condolences go out to you at this time.
  10. I agree with Gareth, get this booked in at main dealer as it's under warranty. That way if there is an oil consumption issue Audi try and get out of at least nyiu can show it's been in before.
  11. I'd like to think it'd come up.witg fault codes. If not then it might need to go.to.an auto electrican
  12. Truthfully no as I let a professional garage do the work on mine.
  13. I'd try eBay if you haven't already
  14. The E10 fuel is a nightmare. I'm convinced it's designed to kill cars deliberately. Let's face it it can't be for emissions like they claim because all cars get less mpg now!
  15. Are you referring to the handle or central locking? If it's the handle you'll need to remove the door card to make sure everything is still attached.
  16. Haynes should be ok. To be fair I find following YouTube videos more helpful nowadays
  17. The numbering should be the same for RHD and LHD.
  18. You might find it needs an update. I'd definitely speak to the MSI. Dealer as there's various mmi issues reported with the A3 8y.
  19. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 glad you got sorted 🙂
  20. The only thing that goes against my dpf theory is that you'd think there'd be a fault code.
  21. If Audi have done it and fitted genuine parts at least you'll have come back for the next 12 months if you have issues with the springs.
