A4 2007 2.0 dti CVT gearbox issues.
I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Definitely could be an issue with the module

Mileage
dpf and egr are the biggest risk factors. The after that turbo and injectors. However well serviced diesel's can last along time. My a6 c5 2.5tdi has never missed a service from new and been over serviced if anything. Before engine went bang it had covered 344k miles. It was on its second turbo and original injectors. I'm putting a replacement engine in it now.

2016 A7 TDI - strange flapping noise when braking
You'd think a loose caliper etc would have been picked up once brake were changed. Could it be a wheel bearing (even though this would be a rumbling sound normally) or a driveshaft issue? I'm assuming tyres have been checked too.

BZB engine into a CDA car, will it work?
If it all comes from the same car then you should be ok I think. The only problem is, the mileage for your car would be wrong. In my opinion you'd be better getting it all coded to your current cluster

Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂- Q3 Wont start some times
I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If diesel it could be glow plugs. Or a cam sensor, crank sensor,- Audi error codes Sq5
I've never heard of that before (ignoring the failing module). I'd recommend an Audi independent specialist might be best. Please keep us posted on how you get on- Q7 cut out now won't start
Could it be an imobiliser issue?- Wrap roof
Nice one, would look forward to seeing it once finished- E-Tron GT update
That explains it. They're more susceptible to corrosion than normal painted wheels due to the finish.- Brake servo restricted
Glad you caught it in the nick of time- BZB engine into a CDA car, will it work?
In my situation with my A6, swapping the engine also requires the matching ECU and injection pump and then it being coded to the instrument cluster. I'd suspect you'd need something similar - Newbie Q5 owner here
