    It's not the most economical as the q3 is a big car. What ever the official mpg figures are then take 10 off them.

    It technically is an MOT failure if you remove dpf. Even though I can understand why youre thinking of it.

  8. Key things is service history. Is there proof of the Cambelt being changed, has the gearbox oil been changed? If quattro are all tyres same tread on each axle as uneven wear can damage the quattro system. Have a look at some buyers guides on YouTube. My friend has a 3.2 TT and engine has been mechanically fine (2007 model)
  9. Part numbers will change. You could speak to Audi to see what the current part number is. Or alternatively have a look on eBay and ask a few sellers.
  10. Could definitely be driveshafts or engine mounts.
  11. It could be the glow plugs or wiring to the glow plugs. How old are they? Is the car struggling to start. You'd be surprised how little glow plugs the car can run on for start up. For example I've just had mine chsbge on my A6 c5 a d only 3 out of the 6 were working.
  12. I'd be getting the battery checked as first port of call. But you could also get an auto electrican to check the alternator.
  13. Actuator should throw up a code in theory. I'm guessing all boost hoses have been checked. The last thing is then the turbo.

  16. As I say if in doubt report it to Audi and get them to check it over.
  17. It's definitely off that someone would go to the trouble to fit speakers but wouldn't wire them in.
  18. My advice would be if you're worried get it booked in at Audi. Even if they don't find anything wrong at least you've logged the issue. Then if there's an issue again within warranty regarding oil usage then they're more likely to act.
  19. There is still a risk. But definitely less of a risk.

  22. I'd recommend you look at buying the full kit on eBay. It's what I did with my wife's Jag.
  23. The dealer should be telling you. Or getting in contact Audi customer services might help encourage your Audi dealer to give you the info. Lead times can depend on what options are selected. Such as sunroofs can often create longer leads times. The dealer should have given you a log on so you can track your build progress.
  24. Think you'll need the ECUs and dials possibly as the imobilser is linked to the ECU.
  25. Did they disconnect the battery at all? And how old is the battery?
