  1. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 I know the markets crazy. My 20 year old A6 with 341k is worth £2k approx!

  3. From looking at Wikipedia the Banham X3?21 was launched after VAG took legal action against Banham over the x99. In theory the x21 was supposed to look less like an Audi TT. However the builder of your car has gone the whole hog to do the opposite 😉
  4. Looks a stunning car! Sorry I can't help with recommendations though. The Highlands a beautiful, where abouts do you live? I've spent time up in the Highlands when my brother lived in Fife.
  5. You've done the best thing getting this booked in asap to Audi. Could be an issue with the MAF, or fueling issue.
  6. What ever you go for is better than diamond cut. As diamond cut is easily damaged
  7. Hmm could it be moved to the armrest? Or does your A3 have any Cubby's like this on my A6. In this cubby I'm going to be fitting a CB radio 😉
  8. You could go with white, red, candy red,
  9. That's good. You'd be better than me 🙂 I'd be getting a professional to fit it as I'm not the best at mechanics. Even though I understand the principles.
  10. The company owner, can't remember the outcome it was around 20 years ago at least. Looks good! Just checked on eBay at sold items, you certainly got a bargain!
  11. Check out the various buyers guides on YouTube. Check to see when the Cambelt and water pump were last changed. As well as seeing when the gearbox oil was last changed. As the s tronic gearbox can fail to change gear with degraded oil. Also check tyres as uneven tyre wear can damage the quattro system.
  12. It's possible. Might be worth speaking to autologics as other members have used them for retrofits. Won't be cheap with genuine Audi parts. Probs about £500. Aftermarket kits would be far cheaper.
  13. I fully appreciate the emotional attachment to the car. I am with mine. Is there no way you can keep it? As I'm sure this would be something you'd regret selling. Have you any pics of it?
  14. Oh wow, I missed seeing that on eBay. It caused quite a stir back in the day as it was so close to looking like a TT. I'm sure it was featured in kitcar mags too. The owner of Banham got taken to court by Audi over the design.
  15. I'd recommend you speak to Audi to see if they can reset it.
  16. It should just be clipped in place. This eBay link shows where the clips are and what it looks like from behind: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403748629431?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=--wmg7khrj-&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  17. Might have to look at using some of this on my A6 rubbers.
  18. I think it should be to the left of the light switch.
  19. I'd advise you to remove the trim to get the part number then source the parts on eBay. A cheaper option would be to wrap the current trim in carbon fibre wrap or similar.
  20. Sounds like great plans. Might be worth you speaking to darkside developments.
