  1. Such a great day at Das Auto show with fellow member Jack Phillips. Some stunning cars on display my favourite being an A6 c5 with only 6000 miles on the clock! The show was definitely better than last year with great levels of conversation between attendees and a larger diversity of cars this year, especially those going down the strip.
  2. I'd recommend a diagnostic check if not done already. Could it be an imobilser fault? Definitely doesn't sound like a key issue if both keys doing it. On my A6 there's a key receiver. Could it be that.
  3. You're welcome. Parts might be your best bet as I know they definitely have schematics or they did when I worked at Volkswagen.
  4. I'd recommend a diagnostic check or for an auto electrican to take a look as it sounds like it could be a wiring issue.
  5. Good luck with finding one as cars are currently holding their value and people keeping them longer due to the delay in new car production
  6. RS4 wheels could be too wide.
  7. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 great to see another 300k+ car on here. My A6 has done 341k with my dad and I as the only owners. Going to Germany next month in it! I find there's always some preventative maintenance required once you hit such high mileage.
  8. You'll need the modules and for them to be coded in to the car.
  9. It might be the light circuit board that's failed. You'll need to remove the light to inspect it. Or get a diagnostic check.
  10. All the best Larry. Sorry you've had such a negative experience with the main dealers. Thanks for being part of the club 🙂
  11. I'd say the relay would be the cheapest part. Please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  12. Think this is a common issue. Think there could be an issue with the track. I'd recommend you speak to Audi. Or get a diagnostic check. you can reset it by removing the sunroof fuse from the fuse box. Remove the fuse panel with a plastic pry wedge then remove the fuse labeled C9 (sunroof) and then reinstall it. This resets the sunroof calibration. After you install the fuse again turn the switch for the sunroof to open then after it opens fully to turn the switch to close.
  13. Could it be the relay for the fan?
  14. I'd recommend a second opinion. Also if you need a new turbo you're better off getting a genuine one instead of a cheap aftermarket one. As they break easily.
  15. My advice would be to speak to Audi as they'll have schematics as to what fuses your car should have.
  16. That's good to hear 🙂 I guess they're younger parts though.
  17. Sorry to hear of this. Hope the new part arrives soon.
  18. Sorry to hear what's happened. I know what you mean. Prices are crazy. Will drop off I think as we hit this recession.
  19. Certainly do Sarah 🙂
  20. How old is the car? I'd be speaking to Audi if still under warranty.
  21. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be the module.
  22. True but.once you're up there the views are worth it. If you look under the road trip section you'll see the nc500 trip I did in my Audi in 2020.
  23. It's lovely there. Me too! I'd move to the west coast of Scotland or a Scottish island if I could.
