  1. Nice. I'm not in any others. I avoid the ford scene now.
  2. Could be a leaking pipe. Worth considering before changing the turbo.
  3. Glad it's sorted for now. Might have worth getting a diagnostic check to see if there's any faults linked to the central locking system.
  4. I'd recommend you put an ad with some breaker sites. I'm guessing youve tried ebay or speaking to a body shop?
  5. Could it be an issue with the switch or ballast boxes in the headlights?
  6. Sorry to hear of your issue. If the garage haven't already, it might be worth getting a diagnostic check done to see if any fault codes flag up. Also you could consider a battery test as a failing battery can prevent the stop/start from.working.
  7. Glad you had a great time 🙂 so e lovely looking cars there 🙂
  8. Thank you. Can't wait to be honest. Got some prep work to do first!
  9. We're doing black forest, the ring, all the German manufacturer museums. Taking the A6 back to where it was built 20 years ago. Then going to colditz and some other WW2 sites. Then getting ferry back from hook of Holland.
  10. Just buy the replacement switch and fit it.
  11. If you have the function it'll either be in the mmi settings or on a switch on the back of each headlight. I'm going to Germany in September. Where are you going in Europe?.
  12. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  13. I'd recommend a diagnostic check, system reset or update first.
  14. That's the other thing to consider, water getting in between the door and roof. Over time fabric roofs shrink.
  15. What fantastic work you've done, you should be applauded. I have moved this post to the servicing section and pinned it so others can find it easily.
  16. If you bought it less than 30 days ago then you can get the dealer to fix it. You could get a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. It could be a failed compressor so expect an expensive bill if so.
  17. You're welcome glad this forum could help 🙂 thanks for adding the fitting guide.
  18. Has it rained? Check your battery tray for blocked drain holes.
  19. I agree with Steve, check under the front seat airbag wiring. Usually the passenger side is often the cause.
