  1. Ah right, in that case my two thoughts would be: 1. Has a sensor failed? 2. Has the car had a Cambelt/timing chain replaced recently in any service history you have? If timing is out by a tooth then the car could run nearly right but enough to flag the fault. 3. If it has a chain and it's the original it could have stretched causing the timing to jump a tooth. Which could cause the code. My wife had this on a Vauxhall Corsa a few years ago.
  2. Main dealer should have them at a reasonable price.
  3. It relates to the camshaft position. So could be a cam sensor etc. Here's a link: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a4-b6-platform-discussion-34/p0011-code-fixed-2919482/ I appreciate this link is for a b6 for the same principle applies. If bought from a dealer then take it back for them to fix.
  4. Each one is custom so unfortunately not. For example my brother's one is fitted to a Suzuki swift.
  5. Show report by Jack Phillips: The show was actually really big! all different clubs on one side and then non-club attendees were arranged in alphabetical order based on their manufacturers in the one-make section. there were also 5 yr olds doing motorbike stunts in an area in the middle 😂 There were bouncy castles/slides (for the kids) and i paid £11 for pulled pork, chips and a coke. it was spread over 2 fields and had an autojumble and other stands. I hung around with Paul for a while, and then he went off with his family and Ben Lam showed up (he is a facebook member but didnt know we had a stand). Great day!
  6. I'd recommend powerflow exhausts as my brother and friends have used them. You can tune the exhaust note to what you want. And I think it's a lifetime warranty.
  7. Might be worth trying a vin decoder. Or ringing an Audi dealer or parts dealer with your vin to see what comes up. Or do a hpi check. I'll admit S line and Le Man's do look similar.
  8. My brother and friends have gone with powerflow exhausts and I'd highly recommend them. You can choose the note you want from the engine as well as the trim tip. I think you get s lifetime warranty too.
  9. My list of jobs before my Germany trip is extensive lol.
  10. If you have no evidence of the gearbox oil being changed then I'd definitely get this done as old oil can definitely affect the s tronic ability to change gears.
  11. Nope, definitely not. Also there's different versions of c5 headlights. Allroads had xenon's but they're a wider headlight was the allroad is known as a wider body (s6/rs6 also wide body) compared to narrow body cars. Also facelift and pre-facelift differ too. I've been looking into it myself for my 02 facelift model. But for facelift narrow body cars they're rare. Some final editions has them though.
  12. I'd recommend a diagnostic check. Also worth seeing when the gearbox oil was last changed. It could also be the module.
  13. This should be the Interior Door Card & Trim Panel Clips- Audi 8E0867276 here's a link: https://www.vehicleclips.co.uk/interior-door-card-trim-panel-clips-audi-8e0867276/
  14. Definitely, but to be fair I think all Audi's do that by one way or another!
  15. No don't worry, I should have been more clear. It'll be the new engine that'll I'll be upgrading 😉 I'm doing as many trips etc on the original engine as possible for the kudos of the mileage etc. However, as I'm never getting rid of the A6 I'm already prepping for a replacement 2.5tdi V6. Which I aim to have heavily tuned. I'll be starting with the 180bhp version first though.
  16. My mate jack who's a member on here used this company for his nodded a3: https://viezu.com/ Based in the midlands and he highly recommend them. Planning to use them myself eventually. They get good reviews in trustpilot too.
  17. It could be the ssensor, float in the tank.
  18. I do agree cars are getting too electrically complicated
  19. No probs 🙂 is the phone still supported by Nokia? Could that be the issue?
  20. Unless done recently bid also recommend a full service and gearbox oil change then unless done very recently. What work has it had done since the car hasn't been through Audi servicing. Ie have services been done on time or has the owner just waited for the car to break? I run an old Audi and I try and keep on top of maintenance bas best as possible. Mines over serviced if anything. But even so there's always something that needs doing. Then again my A6 is sentimental and been in the family from new, now 20 years old with 340k. It's got to that mileage with good servicing. It's never missed a service in 20 years. It has at least 1 if not 2 a year depending on my road trip schedule. I then keep a list of jobs that I need to get done. Which is a rolling list.
  21. Doesn't it need a sim and correct antenna.
