  1. This might help: https://forums.ross-tech.com/index.php?threads/1905/
  2. Changing the headunit for one with apple car play etc. Or Audi will want £500-£600 roughly for them to enable it.
  3. Sorry you've had a similar issue. You'd think as the motoring ombudsman sided with you, that Audi would just old their hands up and admit they're mistakes.
  4. Regarding windscreen fitting you'll need to speak to autoglass or autowindscreens etc. Alternatively bsoeak to your insurance company to see if they'll cover the change of the windscreen under your insurance.
  5. Service history is key. When was the Cambelt and water pump last changed. Is it auto or manual? Regardless when was the gearbox oil changed. If auto this is more important. Is it quattro? If so do all the tyres have even tread and are the tyres matching on each axle. As uneven tyre wear can damage the quattro system. When was the Quattro system serviced. Does the AC work and all electronic work as these both can be costly to repair. Has it got xenon headlights. If so do they work ok properly as bulbs and ballasts can be expensive to change. I'm assuming you've done a hpi check and not check on the DVLA website.
  6. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 An eBay one should work.
  7. I could have sworn it's an extra, or it was when it first came out.
  8. I feel your pain as older A6 models like mine suffer from water ingress via multiple points. I've fixed 2 common issues but now chasing a 3rd one 🤦‍♂️as I say the windscreen needs to come out to fix the seal.

  10. Windscreen seal needs to have the windscreen removed. Clearly the windscreen has been replaced. I'd work through the issues one by one. If you've got the module then chance it. But you could change the switch too.
  11. Scumbags. I'd recommend looking for an auto electrican or someone who repairs modules. As abs pump ECUs etc can be repaired.
  12. My advice would be to try a second hand part. You could try the part number via euro car parts or similar.
  13. Sorry I mean YouTube for buyers guides.
  14. Definitely look at YouTube videos. Tech packs and virtual cockpit are desirable
  15. You're right, one is for a cd player. It all depends on what mmi you have.
  16. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  17. Looks great! Might be worth seeing if there's a market for it 😉
  18. Thanks Tony, we're off to Cyprus. We've had a really bad couple of months so we're in a desperate need of a break. Gutted I'm missing it. And as I say I hate letting members down.
  19. With every other vehicle seemingly being a crossover, it's refreshing to see a new wagon in the works. Audi has been caught testing the next-generation A4 Avant a few times already, and this speculative rendering attempts to digitally peel off the camouflage. Contrary to design trends and coming as a pleasant surprise, the BMW 3 Series Touring rival will get a smaller front grille, flanked by what appear to be slightly slimmer headlights. In typical Ingolstadt fashion, the Four Rings won't be rocking the boat in terms of design, which is something we can't say about its archrival BMW. The test vehicles our spies have spotted didn't have the final taillights, but a protrusion in the tailgate led us to believe the prototypes had a wide light bar in keeping with recent Audis. The design exercise doesn't show the interior, but we know for a fact the MMI infotainment will be neatly integrated into the center console. The German luxury brand has already announced the new A4 will usher in the firm's last generation of gasoline and diesel engines. It will ride on an evolution of the MLB platform and rely on a 48V mild-hybrid system to cut fuel consumption to keep regulators happy. A plug-in hybrid with a big battery is in the offing, and there also might be an equivalent electric model underpinned by the bespoke PPE architecture. It's going to be the last long-roof A4 with gasoline/diesel engines and we believe it'll also be the company's penultimate wagon ever to get ICE power. We're expecting the next A6 Avant to serve as the epilogue of a combustion-engined wagon when it arrives in the coming years. Both the A4 and A6 will stick around with traditional engines until the end of the decade. As previously reported, Audi will launch its last new car with combustion engines in 2025. Everything from 2026 will be a pure EV, with the production of ICE-powered vehicles coming to an end in 2032. There is one exception as China might still offer "old-school" drivetrains beyond that date should there still be enough demand. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.motor1.com/news/589319/2023-audi-a4-avant-rendering/amp/
