  1. I'm assuming it's an s tronic gearbox. They're not cheap to replace or refurb. Second hand ones on eBay are from £1k-2.5k. The main causes for failure is due to the gearbox oil not being changed when it should. Or the module failing. For peace of mind you could bite the bullet and get Audi to do a diagnosis.
  2. The major problems the allroads have is with the air suspension. In theory a standard A6 Quattro would be as good in snow as the allroad but not off-road obviously.
  3. Oh dear. What are you going to do now?
  4. Shouldn't be the battery then, I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up.
  5. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 what's a eckaslike?
  6. This link should help:
  7. I'd be looking at getting a diagnostic check. I'm wondering if the heater matrix is leaking?
  8. Could be the drivers door module. You'll.need a diagnostic check though.
  9. K&n are well used. Or pipercross. My advice would be to get a remap too and a stainless steel exhaust for best gains.
  10. Sounds a great retirement 🙂
  11. Nice pair! 👍
  12. You're welcome and I bet!
  13. Il take a look 🙂
  14. My advice regarding adblue on vag cars or jaguar landrovers is get the dealer to fill it up for you. My wife has a jag XE and even though my wife and I are more than capable of filing it up, we take it to Jag for the technicians to do with Jag approved adblue. It has saved us at least a couple of times when the system has gone wrong as they haven't charged us for repairs because they can see only they've filled it up and Jag adblue used.
  15. Never even heard of them, how do they work?
  16. As the cameras are high up I wonder if you could just put it on the dash?
  17. Just look for local auto locksmiths. Bare in mind the key might not look like a standard Audi key though.
  18. I'd recommend powerflow exhausts as my brother and friends have used them and been pleased with them. You could also consider bigger turbos, FMIC, bigger injectors, induction kits. Depends how much you want to spend. What ever you get next though you'll need to get the car remapped to take the mods into account.
  19. Worth a shot.
  20. Glad this thread helped 🙂
  21. Looks like a case of cost cutting on RHD cars. Ironic when we probably pay more than those who have LHD!
  22. No probs 🙂
  23. If the sticker is t there then if you're car came with a paper service book then there should be a sticker on the inside front cover.
  24. Very nice. Looks smart with the rotor alloys.
