  1. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ Ha e you spoken to Audi for a digital print out of the service history they hold on the car? As there's no proof of service history of recommend a full service and gearbox oil service asap.

I'd guess the switch, because it's proven the motor is working
  8. Issue 1. If the car has halogen headlights and the owner wants to convert to xenon then the car will need a headlight washer system installed to make it road legal. If I'm not mistaken this version of A8 (d3) was made untill 2009 so fitting later headlights and tail lights might be an option. But the later units would be coded to the car as can us was brought in in 2007.

I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  10. Have you drained the fuel tank and put in fresh fuel? Is it worth getting a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? Could be an issue with the high pressure fuel pump
  11. Odd this is happening on a 2025 model car. I'd recommend getting it into Audi asap. Could be a sticking caliper piston. Is it happening on one wheel or multiple? If it's happening when driving you'll know which wheel because when you stop the affected brake will be hotter than the rest.
  12. Thank you for this valuable info. I knew q7 could suffer from this but not A5 models.
  13. I think done audis had issues with the high pressure fuel pump. Is it worth getting a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up?
  14. Glad you're pleased with it ๐Ÿ˜Š
  15. Very nice colour

  17. Glad you got the wire sorted. What do those two codes mean? Is there a parasitic drain on the battery for it to go flat? How old is the battery. A failing battery can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins. Is it just me or does the slam panel look dented? Where I've marked in red circle

    Sounds good ๐Ÿ™‚
  19. If there's no proof of it being done then I'd recommend having it done due to the age of the car.
  20. Looks like a great trip.

I'd make a note of the codes then clear them. Then see which ones come back. Within a week. I'm assuming you've tested to see if the parking sensors and heat mirrors work? What engine and gearbox has the car got?
  22. What was the damage? I ask because it could be a faulty abs sensor. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up?
  23. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ๐Ÿ™‚ I'd recommend taking it to an independent Audi specialist or auto electrician
  24. Looks nice ๐Ÿ‘
