I know it feels like a wasted day, however having the fault logged and investigated in warranty might help you if the fault happens outside of warranty.
-
I believe Audi should have all the updates, recalls etc on file. It might be worth ringing them. There's a lot of software issues with vag cars ATM. It's definitely a nice car 🙂

Rear lower control arm stuck (alignment bolt seized)
Steve Q replied to Jack P's topic in Audi TT Club
Hey mate could you try an air chisel or sawsall? Also found this link mate: https://www.ttforum.co.uk/threads/seized-rear-control-arm-preventing-4-wheel-alignment.180551/ I'd also recommend you update the bushes with powerflex ones so you won't have to replace them again. -
How odd. A diagnostic check might be worth a try. Or speak to Audi as the software might need an update. Definitely get it logged with Audi so there's evidence you've reported it to them in the warranty period. Ive done a search online which hasn't brought up any results.

Good luck with the work and further diagnostics. Please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂 -
This is a phone cradle for connecting a specific mobile device. it had a cradle attached for what I think was a Nokia 6xxx series phone attached to it. Annoying but I guess it should be removable. but here's a link to the cradle: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114939037738?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=00iPa9PYQoG&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304457255184?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=FlzQAgJOQw6&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Nokia phone: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313553133170?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Ocd4u4l5TMy&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Not sure on your situation but regarding gearbox oil change, here's a link: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/414061-B7-A4-Tiptronic-ATF-Replacement Plus I think the gearbox takes around 5-6L of oil. -

Yep I've looked into it, I've got my tickets booked and really looking forward to it. Should be a cracking day out 🙂 I do love shows that have a variety of things to do. Just like simply Audi that has the cars, museum and manor house to look round.

Suspension New shocks for my a6c6 estate fsi 3.2 quattro
Steve Q replied to Jeaningo's topic in Audi A6 (C6) Forum
It's funny you mention the bilsteins as I was considering the full suspension kit (£700+) worth lowers the car by 30mm too (not that I'm going for anything racey) just thought it'd improve the handling as genuine Audi suspension parts are no longer made. -
Great day at Caffeine and Machine in Stratford upon Avon today. Some cracking Audi's, plus other cars as well as great food! Thinking we could have a club meet there at some point? They do car meets throughout the week. But you have to pre-book at weekends. All cars are welcome 🙂

DVLA are like that. To rectify it you'd have to to get a letter of conformity from Audi to send to DVLA to prove its a b9.
-
The best advice I'd give is measure the diameter of your current speaker and buy ones with the same diameter. I can't see much difference with 08 or 09 models but can't say 100%

Have you got pictures? B8 only ran to 2015 though. pic 1 B8 facelift. Pic 2 B9 you'll notice headlights and grill is different.

Very nice indeed!

I'd buy some aftermarket ones 👍

It's just a cap that covers the rear window washer. For example: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133773697364?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Mb8IcF-URWC&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Could you try a shipping site like Shipley? I've used them to move cars before and can recommend the site. It's a sister company to ebay where people bid on your shipping order. Lowest bid wins and you choose which one you go for.

Thanks for your thoughts and support Gareth and I do agree. When you look at AOC UK & club Audi who both get good turn outs for shows I just don't know where we're going wrong. Thank you, glad you appreciate my efforts, I do try.

Thank you for your reply 🙂 I feel the same. It frustrates me I go to the trouble to try and arrange events, promote them and try and encourage others to come and then get only a handful of cars. Numbers have definitely dwindled as some shows we'd have 10+ cars. Plus it's proving hard to encourage new members to come along.
