  1. Could definitely be driveshafts or engine mounts.
  2. It could be the glow plugs or wiring to the glow plugs. How old are they? Is the car struggling to start. You'd be surprised how little glow plugs the car can run on for start up. For example I've just had mine chsbge on my A6 c5 a d only 3 out of the 6 were working.
  3. I'd be getting the battery checked as first port of call. But you could also get an auto electrican to check the alternator.
  4. Actuator should throw up a code in theory. I'm guessing all boost hoses have been checked. The last thing is then the turbo.
  5. I agree not is very strange.
  6. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 glad you're pleased with your TT 🙂
  7. As I say if in doubt report it to Audi and get them to check it over.
  8. It's definitely off that someone would go to the trouble to fit speakers but wouldn't wire them in.
  9. My advice would be if you're worried get it booked in at Audi. Even if they don't find anything wrong at least you've logged the issue. Then if there's an issue again within warranty regarding oil usage then they're more likely to act.
  10. There is still a risk. But definitely less of a risk.
  11. Should be able to find a wiring kit on eBay.
  12. You're welcome, glad I could kinda help.
  13. I'd recommend you look at buying the full kit on eBay. It's what I did with my wife's Jag.
  14. The dealer should be telling you. Or getting in contact Audi customer services might help encourage your Audi dealer to give you the info. Lead times can depend on what options are selected. Such as sunroofs can often create longer leads times. The dealer should have given you a log on so you can track your build progress.
  15. Think you'll need the ECUs and dials possibly as the imobilser is linked to the ECU.
  16. Did they disconnect the battery at all? And how old is the battery?
  17. When changing the dpf I'd recommend fitting a genuine Audi one only as the aftermarket ones can fail quickly due to being a questionable quality. Also cleaning the original one can only increase the life expectancy by a small margin.
  18. Might be worth a diagnostic check if you haven't already. I'd also recommend getting a battery test as a failing battery can throw up electrical gremlins. Also the traction control light could be caused by a failing abs sensor.
  19. I guess a fault within the air/fuel mixture could cause the issue.
  20. Normally the chain will start to clatter I believe. If it sounds smooth then I would leave it in my opinion.
  21. Definitely not a rivet in my opinion. It couldn't be a top of a head bolt that's been miss shaped?
  22. My advice would be to speak to Audi parts department to see if they can give you the relevant part numbers.
  23. I think it should be either in the boot side panels, side of the dash, in the engine bay or behind the glovebox?
  24. Your English is good 🙂 Any loose metal in an engine isn't good. What was the reason you decided to take the head off the engine? You might need to do further dismantling to make sure there's no further loose metal elsewhere.
  25. Celtic tuning, darkside or viezu are popular. These all rolling roads and I'd recommend any remap you get make sure they have one. Also if you go on Celtic tuning website it'll give you a rough calculation of what gains you can get from either a performance map or eco map.
