  1. Yea it could be if as remaps can put additional stress on wearing/weak components.
  2. Can you just replace the dial? I thought it's a complete unit. You should be able to get a used replacement from ebay.
  3. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Looks a nice A3 👍
  4. Could be the antenna. A diagnostic check should identify the problem.
  5. Gutted for him. Is it worth him keeping the car after the job has been done so he gets the benefit from it? Or trade it in as is?
  6. Sorry to hear of your situation. Hope your son didnt get stung and it's just coincidence.
  7. I'd recommend a diagnostic check. Hesitation could be turbo as a long shot. Is it auto or manual?
  8. I'm surprised Audi or euro car parts don't. My first go to in these situations is eBay even if they're second hand.
  9. So I've spoken to the organisers, it's a turn up on the gate job. There's currently 5 of us going. Jack and I with Audi's and my brother with a couple of his mates all with Jap cars. All proceeds go towards SSAFA the armed forces charity. There's trade stands and trophies for show n shine as well as best club stand etc.
  10. That's great to hear 😊 would love to see a write up of your trip 🙂

  16. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 great looking TT!
  17. Morning all, had a calamity this morning and broke the glovebox hinge clean off the lid. Needless to say I'm needing a replacement in this colour if anyone knows of one that'd be great (best pic I've got currently). I've tried eBay with no luck so far. And the garage are trying Audi. Thanks in advance 🙂
  18. Does Audi not even have the parts? I'd definitely speak to an auto electrican before doing either.
  19. Good question, I think long term the higher fuel prices go the more people will look at the options of what's cheapest to get them to work and back. I know I've considered my options and know what I'll do. And hadn't thought about new car prices. But thinking about it they too have increased.
  20. Definitely get a diagnostic check to see what fault codes flag up. As it could be a module.
  21. I'd definitely look.at a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up regarding the radio.
  22. The whole market is crazy. It's due to the chip shortage. It's those in finance I feel sorry for as when the market crashes they'll be into negative equity up to their eyeballs.
