  1. I'd definitely be getting this back to the garage that did the work. My dad had a similar thing in a old land Rover defender and they had to change the Cambelt as it had been fitted incorrectly
  2. Dark grey would look good 👍
  3. I think it'll be standard on rs3 but it's definitely not standard on normal spec cars that I'm aware of.
  4. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 hope you love your s5 🙂
  5. Hmm how odd. Did you reset the mmi at all? Definitely check the cables. But could be the screen.
  6. Yep it's normal to have the button only on the driver's door
  7. This is a major change. If it were me I'd be looking at a discount from the order, you change spec entirely or cancel the order. The chip shortage is getting ridiculous now.
  8. I believe it has to be done at Audi via the car being connected directly to a computer in Audi germany. The cost is around £500.
  9. No probs
  10. As long as it's maintained it can do high mileage. For example my a6 c5 has done 339k miles but it's got full service history. It's all in the history. Definitely check out the C6 buyers guide videos on YouTube.
  11. Check ebay too. Unfortunately now is a bad time to buy cars as they're more expensive and people are holding on to them more. It's all about the servicing. Ideally you want full history. On cars of this age or miles see when the Cambelt and water pump were changed. Also check when the gearbox oil was changed. And if the car is quattro which I believe they are then the tyres should match with even wear on tyres on the same axle. Otherwise it can cause damage to the quattro system. Also the headlights are bi-xenon and when the bulbs are going they'll go a bit dim or flicker. They've around £180 per bulb I believe.
  12. I've found these on ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Used-Genuine-AUDI-A2-00-05-AA-01-03-Set-Of-Alloy-Wheel-Center-Hub-Caps-4-Pcs-/203810392671?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A2-8Z-Alloy-Wheel-Center-Cap-Set-8Z0601165FZ17-16-NEW-OEM-/124744130407?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Wheel-Center-Hub-Cap-Avus-Silver-16-Fits-AUDI-A2-A3-8L-00-05-Facelift-/162812674169?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
  13. Glad it's working well ☺️
  14. You've done a great amount of diagnostics and replacement parts 👍 I'm wondering if it could be a lambda sensor/02 sensor.
  15. I'd definitely be looking to get one from ebay.
  16. Glad you e got to the bottom of the leak. Youll need this looking at asap.
  17. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ☺️ they are lovely vehicles one of the moderators has one. Have a look at buyers guides on YouTube. One major issue with them is the swirl flaps sticking/failing. Also look out for issues with blocked dpf or egr.
  18. Definitely, mine is 20 years old in March. My dad and then I the only owners.
  19. Please keep us posted
  20. You're welcome 😊 greAt to see another older Audi here.
  21. Is it burning oil? Or leaking oil ever so slightly? What engine is fitted to your A4?
  22. How weird
  23. Does it depend on how loud the radio is or what kind of music you're listening to?
  24. Very nice 👍🙂
  25. Whst external factors have they said it could be? Id definitely be speaking to Audi customer service. And it certainly should not have gone in 5k miles. When I've had issues with main dealers I get a second opinion from another main dealer. Alternatively I'd be getting specialist advice from an independent Audi garage for their opinion. You could always contact the motoring ombudsman.
