Hey everyone. Just thought I’d share my hunt for slightly pulsing brakes at low speed and a vibration in the seat at 50mph plus. After much searching the internet it lead me to a wheel bearing however I was thinking warped rear discs. I changed the fronts that stopped the steering wheel shake when braking I thought today I’d just take the wheels and docs off to see if there was anything noticeable and there it was. The hubs between the discs were corroded and pushing the whole lot ever so slightly off straight. Cleans all faces up and now it drives like a dream. Just a free thing to do if anyone is experiencing similar issues. Little before and after pic.
Ecm is engine control module. Do you mean the module for the mirrors.
To make it work you'll need the mirrors, wiring harness, module and switch. Might be worth you speaking to the supplier of the mirrors to see if they have the rest of the parts.
That's right, definitely keep the original for module etc. We've seen numerous cases where people swap doors over and not the original module and it causes problems with the central locking
Worth Looking for a second hand one on eBay and include international sellers.
The aftermarket alarm could present you problems down the line. Especially as your car should have come standard with an alarm.
Audi are bound to say that to get out of paying for it. For you to take out a service plan did they do a health check at Audi prior to the washers stop working.
Definitely could be the pump.

In terms of driveability the s tronic is the most refined. The other two types of Audi auto gearboxes would be tiptronic or CVT, tis is more generalised.
Service history is key on any car you're looking at and you should be looking for prof of gearbox oil services. If you're worried then you're better sticking with the 6 speed manual
I'd recommend picking up a few performance VW magazines. As they will list who's carried out the work on the cars featured. Might be worth sourcing some bank issues from eBay.
Wide front wings should be out there, I know I can get fibreglass wide ones for my A6 for example.
