  1. So glad you've had this all covered under warranty. Especially regarding the blocked drains. Sounds like you caught that in the nick of time.
  2. I think they're fobbing you off. Abd the easiest way to prove it is to ask Audi whst the lead time is on a spare key. And also do the same with a auto locksmith.
  3. You've done the right thing with coding but I think you'll need the matching loom and modules. I'd definitely speak to a professional retro fitter in my opinion
  4. Definitely worth getting a diagnostic check.
  5. I use ac motor services in Syston leics for my a6 servicing. Worth ringing them. Also there's chapman's Audi specialist in wigston but I've not used them personally.
  6. Is the warranty a genuine Audi one or is it an independent one? If it's an independent one then I wouldn't bother as they're not worth the paper they're written on. However an Audi one at £400 I think is good value.
  7. I'd be checking service history. This should definitely be a full history baring in mind it's a performance car. My advice would also be to test drive more than one to compare it.
  8. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ☺️
  9. Wowzers! I'd definitely be looking at a second hand part.
  10. With an electrical fault I'd advise a diagnostic check to see what fault codes flag up.
  11. It could be. Also worth checking the Skuttle panel for any debris blocking the drain plugs.
  12. I don't believe so as it won't be selected in the mmi/dash etc.
  13. Nice one ☺️ I need to get my ordered.
  14. In that case you're doing everything you can. My other recommendation is to speak to a garage this specialises in the inport of American or japanese cars as I suspect they'll know the process and who to contact. Thank you 🙂
  15. It needs a diagnostic check for a kick off to see what fault codes flag up
  16. Can't say I've heard of this before. Dare I ask how much Audi want to do the job?!
  17. I agree with Gareth on this one. It might be worth you contacting Audi customer services as you may find they'll need to put you in contact with someone at Audi in Germany. Just out of curiosity, how much was it to have it shipped from south Africa? And how long did it take for the car to arrive? And who did your brother use? If you don't mind me asking?
  18. As I suspect the car is still under warranty I'd be taking it back to main dealer pronto. As fault codes will be stored on the ecu. The fact it's red would imply it's more of a concern. As a yellow warning says to contact your local dealer. Sorry I can't help more but with the a3 8v a similar issue was down to a faulty fuel pump. And on the a4 b9 it was down to various issues.
  19. This might help: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/649334-Where-is-the-Headlight-Auto-Level-(Range-Control)-Module-Located Needless to say I think you're looking in the right place.
  20. I think this is down to the mmi. Might be worth to see if there's an update for it.
  21. I believe the door pins fail causing this issue. Situated on the a pillar I think.
  22. Please let me know once you've booked tickets ☺️

  24. Hmm In.thst case it shouldn't be the oil as 14k miles isnt that high. Your next port of call would be a diagnostic check.
