  1. When was the towbar fitted? And by whom? Definitely worth contacting the towbar fitting company.
  2. Steve Q replied to Darrin's topic in Audi A5 Club
If it's creeking then could it not be a sign one of the rubber bushes is degrading
  3. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  4. You can. But you might be lucky, as you might be able to move the seat far enough forward or back to have a look and unclip the wire.
  5. Definitely could be a nox sensor
  6. Steve Q replied to Glenm's topic in Audi A4 (B8) Forum
Might be worth checking the pollen filter housing. Has the door dropped slightly?.
  7. No probs 🙂
  8. Could it be an intermittent issue with the MAF sensor?
  9. It might just need a software update. But you'll still have to Psy for the diagnosis fee unfortunately.
  10. I'm sure it's h7 unless xenon lights which they don't look like xenon lights on your car.
  11. You might.find the same button was fitted to.other VAG cars like the golf for example. Worth a thought.
  12. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up regarding the heater motor and controls etc. Also does the engine get up to temperature and stay constant? I ask as a failing thermostat could cause issues.
  13. Its all about making the note nicer. I know when my A6 finally needs a new exhaust I'll definitely be getting a stainless steel one. But then again it makes sense as I'm keeping my A6 for life.
  14. I believe you might find the cat might be protected by the engine undertray. If not you can get cages that go round the cat as well as special paint to help it more identifiable
  15. Powerflow exhaust. My mate and brother had them fitted to their cars. You can choose the exhaust note. Also a remap could be a good idea.
  16. You've done a great amount of diagnostic work. Might be worth changing the mmi unit next.
  17. I suspect the drivers and passenger seats would run off the same fuse. My money is on a loose wire or burnt motor.
  18. Might be worth getting it booked in at Audi. Is it worth replacing the seal?
  19. Airbag warning light issues are often caused by a loose wire under the passenger seat mainly. Can sometimes be drivers side. But definitely more passenger side.
  20. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could it be a turbo issue?
  21. I have aftermarket ones on my A6 and they've done well. Fit wasn't too bad. Genuine ones are very expensive I've found.
  22. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 have you got a picture? Ive be er heard of this before.
  23. The car alarm should have a siren anyway for when it goes off.
  24. I'd recommend working through the faults found on the diagnostic check assuming they're fresh codes not historic. Could it be an injector issue?
