  2. Definitely sounds a wiring issue then. Might be worth removing the trim in the boot to inspect the wires
  3. Might just be the lambda sensor.
  4. Sorry to hear of your issue. When was the belt last changed? I think It should be every 5 years.
  5. I'm so sorry to hear this news Tony. My thoughts and condolences go out to you at this time.
  6. I agree with Gareth, get this booked in at main dealer as it's under warranty. That way if there is an oil consumption issue Audi try and get out of at least nyiu can show it's been in before.
  7. I'd like to think it'd come up.witg fault codes. If not then it might need to go.to.an auto electrican
  8. Truthfully no as I let a professional garage do the work on mine.
  9. I'd try eBay if you haven't already
  10. The E10 fuel is a nightmare. I'm convinced it's designed to kill cars deliberately. Let's face it it can't be for emissions like they claim because all cars get less mpg now!
  11. Are you referring to the handle or central locking? If it's the handle you'll need to remove the door card to make sure everything is still attached.
  12. Haynes should be ok. To be fair I find following YouTube videos more helpful nowadays
  13. The numbering should be the same for RHD and LHD.
  14. You might find it needs an update. I'd definitely speak to the MSI. Dealer as there's various mmi issues reported with the A3 8y.
  15. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 glad you got sorted 🙂
  16. I'd definitely look at getting the switch looked at.
  17. The only thing that goes against my dpf theory is that you'd think there'd be a fault code.
  18. If Audi have done it and fitted genuine parts at least you'll have come back for the next 12 months if you have issues with the springs.

Haas the battery been checked? A failing battery can cause all sorts of electrical issues
  20. No probs 🙂
  21. Could it be an issue with the dpf I wonder? The car thinking it needs to keep the fan on during a regeneration
