  1. No probs at all, please keep us posted on how you get on
  2. I'm highly certain a full size wheel won't fit. But Gareth's suggestion is a good one.
  3. I'd recommend picking up a few performance VW magazines. As they will list who's carried out the work on the cars featured. Might be worth sourcing some bank issues from eBay. Wide front wings should be out there, I know I can get fibreglass wide ones for my A6 for example.
  4. Keep on to them. Have you searched on Facebook groups about the issue?
  5. That's great to hear. How have you found the car?
  6. Have you considered rs3 bits? Not sure if it's the same on the 8p but in the A6 C5 the rs6 is wider and longer for example so bits dont just fit. Just worth researching. You'd be best searching for A3 8p bodykits to see what pops up. Or search on the max power Facebook groups for modded A3s.
  7. You'd better off speaking to retrofitters like Audi retrofits or autologics. Members have used them and been happy with the results.
  8. Space saver would fit. The VW Polo one should be the same as the A1. Is the battery in the wheel well? Also I'd recommend looking on eBay for the space saver and kit.
  9. You're most welcome 🙂 please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂

  13. Have they tried eBay including international sellers?
  14. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could it be an imobiliser issue?
  15. Keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  16. Keep us posted on how you get on with an auto electrician
  17. It might need to be coded or calibrated to the car.
  18. I get where your coming from as I've got the same issue but with my engine. Been a nightmare. As long as it's the same gearbox type so not based off code if that makes sense (like the same engine has different engine codes) it will physically fit. But it's the coding and the module that might be the problem you choose a different gearbox code. Plus let's not forget gear rations could be slightly different. I can appreciate it's 3x the price, but if you fit a gearbox that's a different code and then the gearbox module needs recoding or replacing, it it doesn't work then it's just wasted money if you see what I mean.
  19. Could be a brake pedal switch. Alternatively get an auto electrician to check the wiring for the system.
  20. Also bare in mind cars made during the pandemic are sometimes lacking kit or gained other bits.
  21. It will have been an extra, most likely via a tech pack. You're best contacting the respective dealer regarding if the car has it once you've found one you're interested in.
  22. Glad it's been helpful 🙂
  23. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Or get an auto electrician to check the power.
  24. Keep us posted on how you get on
