  1. Your best bet is ask the tuner. Make sure it's done a rolling road so the map is tuned specifically to your car.
  2. Glad you got sorted and no probs at all 🙂
  3. Fingers crossed for you 🤞
  4. There should be either a build sticker on the inside front cover if the service book or in the wheel well edge which will have all the codes linked to the cars colour and spec.
  5. Is the compass in the interior mirror like on the older A6 C5 allroad?
  6. Che j buyers guides on YouTube. But key things when was cambelt and water pump last changed? If an auto when was the gearbox oil last changed. Make sure all electrical items work as parts such as air con compressors can be expensive. Make sure heating is consistent from all vents as inconsistent temperature or power could be a blocked heater matrix. Make sure the roof works! And more importantly that's no leaks or water ingress/wet carpets etc.
  7. Keep us posted on how you get on
  8. Even if the key electronics can be coded you'll still need the blade for the key.
  9. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  10. Good point, on second thought sorry.
  11. Keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  12. I thought it'd be a switch
  13. You've done a great amount of diagnostics, I'd definitely consider a wiring fault next
  14. You're welcome. They're not allowed to due to EU regulations. The next wave of these regulations will be that these cannot be turned off at all.
  15. Check service history for proof of gearbox oil services etc and make sure all electrical items work. Check YouTube videos for buyers guides
  16. The fan doing this could be part of the dpf regen. I'd recommend you get a second opinion
  17. White smoke could be a sign of a failing head gasket. Is it using coolant? Or an issue with the egr
  18. Have you had the heater matrix checked? Is the car engine temperature staying consistently at 90 degrees?
  19. Hello David they cannot be switched off as they're part of the cars safety systems. If it were possible doing so would invalidate your insurance
  20. It's electrics that are the biggest problem and parts availability. Make sure all electrical items work on any car you look at and air con, as compressors can be expensive to change. Make sure service history is good and there's proof of cambelt and water pump changes and if an auto make sure there's proof of gearbox oil changes. Make sure heater is working and air is consistent from all vents because of it's not it could be heater matrix which isn't a cheap job either.
  21. Keep us posted on how you get on
  22. The Q5 will have similar servicing intervals.
  23. They control windows too. You need a replacement ccm with the exact same part number. Might be worth to see if yours can be dried out.
