Has it rained? Check your battery tray for blocked drain holes.

I agree with Steve, check under the front seat airbag wiring. Usually the passenger side is often the cause.

What's the service history. Especially with the gearbox? Tyres have they got matching tread and same brands. As uneven wear can damage the quattro system.

I'd recommend only buying genuine new or reconditioned. Don't buy cheap Chinese nonsense as it'll only fail in a short amount of time.

Oo good point, I know a lot of cars have now got anti tamper/anti Syphon systems. Would probably work on my old A6.

Rangers aren't reliable. My mechanic bought one new. It has to have a full new adblue system at 2 weeks old! You see I only like to buy approved used if possible. We always had more issues from non approve than approved used cars.

Glow plug module.
The glow plug module on the 2.0 diesel Q5 is located in the plenum chamber, so the area behind the bulkhead under the plastic shield

FTC pellets for a Q5
I've had a look, I'm just curious as to what's stops the pellets from getting sucked into the fuel pump? I'd be tempted to give it a go as long as they're not sucked into the fuel pump.
