  1. Sorry to hear that. It looks like you've been stung.
  2. My advice would be to look at them giving you a full refund which you're entitled to up to 30 days after sale.
  3. Couldn't agree more. My a6 wants for nothing bar a little bit of rust which needs attention but that's it.
  4. Glad you got sorted abd thank you for providing the ordering advice for other members ☺️
  5. If you bought the car within the 30 days my advice would be to take it back to the dealer to sort which should be done FOC as you are entitled to a full refund up to 30 days. It might just need an update.
  6. This might help:
  7. If you bought it from a dealer then you have the right to a full refund within 30 days of sale.
  8. Could tgey be for the heater/heater matrix? I say this as I remember my wife having an issue with her old fiesta a long time ago and the pipes were in a similar configuration. Of they run into the bulkhead then I would hedge my bet that that's what they are.
  9. I do still think the mpg level is too low. There could still be an issue with the air fuel mixture. I'd say there could be an issue with the maf sensor but the only thing that questions my logic is that the car is running normally.
  10. Is it task master or would I lie to you?
  11. Sorry I can't help more.
  12. Might be worth seeing if you can get an uprated on from demontweaks or similar. Or look under international sellers on EBay.
  13. The quattro system and s tronic will account for some of the mog loss over your previous a3. But it still shouldnt be that low I'd argue. My a6 achieves those kind of figures for urban and it's 19 years old with high mileage and has two more cylinders. Have you taken it to a garage to be looked at? Might be worth looking at a diagnostic check. Also what colour is the exhaust smoke. As the car running rich could account for it.
  14. You could always call the aa or similar breakdown company to help try to get the wheel off?
  15. Decent one will cost around £300 I think. Well known tuners include darkside developments & Revo.
  16. Oo wow. Give me a clue? 😊
  17. You're welcome, I would have said driveshafts next. When mine failed my mechanic showed me a trick where if you hold the driveshaft once of the car so it's facing vertically, then give it a shake you should hear a rattle if it's failed. I did get 331k out of the original driveshafts though so mine definitely needed doing.
  18. Correct Richard! Now it's your turn to share one? 🙂
  19. Someone should know this? Clue: it was on a tv episode.
  20. That's good then 🙂 all's well that ends well 👍
