  1. That's annoying, but eBay is your friend: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A1-S-Line-2015-1-6-Tdi-Complete-Exhaust-/154460824862?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Exhaust-System-Muffler-End-Pipe-Audi-A1-Sportback-Facelift-8XA-1-6-Tdi-/324594500642?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286
  2. Congratulations on your purchase ☺️ what spec is the a2? And here you go: "There are 2 type of engines in the A2 1.4 TDI (55 kw!). From 1999 till (sept?) 2003 it is the AMF type engine which needs a cambelt change every 90.000 KM (60.000 miles) and the BHC type engine fitted after (sept?) 2003 with an interval of 120.000 KM (75.000 miles)." To be fair it should be in the service book as to when it needs doing.
  3. Most definitely. An update shouldn't be that hard to do.
  4. I've worked it out at 2,218 miles which should be doable as the a6 has done that kind of road trip miles before. Thank you for that ☺️ if my mate has bought the apartment then I'm contemplating dropping Mercia abd maybe adding in a trip to Tangier (because I'm either brave or stupid) as then the Audi had officially been in another continent. But I Know it'll make the trip more complicated abd slightly more stressful as the border crossing is a nightmare.
  5. Hello all, I'm thinking of doing a road trip this year, covid rules permitting. This is my itinerary, what do you think? Portsmouth-santander-madrid-mercia-marbella-gibraltar-Faro Portugal-lisbon via Lagos/ Alcacer do sal-porto-santiago de compestela-santander-portsmouth. I've mapped it out into manageable junks and the longest stint between these destinations is 4 hours 39mins. I'm giving myself 14 days to complete it and there will be over night stops at each place (excluding Portsmouth and Santander as I'll be on the ferry). Considering 2 night stops in Gibraltar and one other location but haven't decided which one. I've chosen Mercia as a friend should have bought a apartment by the time I intend to go. I've chosen Marbella as I know there's an English garage there so I can get the Audi fixed if there's any problems.
  6. That's a pain. I've just had a look but not found anything. I think your next best bet is a German car specialist or Audi specialist
  7. If the material is In good condition it might be able to be glued back into position. Probably best done by a body shop though.
  8. Sorry to hear Audi weren't helpful. You could always try another Audi dealer. It's definitely worth looking at getting the above update done.
  9. Glad it's sorted. Might be worth sending an email to Audi customer services in Milton Keynes. Or contact watchdog etc.
  10. That's fantastic! Great work. ☺️ It's a great feeling when you get no advisories
  11. Slightly I as the 3 door model has bigger doors and as such the b pillars are further back.
  12. Welcome to the forum, looks a lovely Audi. Especially in that colour ☺️
  13. You'd be looking at 2 bumpers, sideskirts and the wheels. Expect to pay at least £1500 to do it parts and labour. That's subject to finding the parts used. My advice would be to buy the one with the body kit as it'll be easier for you in the long run. Plus being a better spec it should have more features too. Plus you need to factor insurance cost because if you add the body kit to the bottom one you'll have to notify your insurance company as it'll be classed as a modification

    Paint Peeling

I'd definitely get it to a dealer as it shouldn't have done that. But be prepared for be a fight on your hands.
  15. It is a beautiful venue Steve, hoping to go there in August for the VW show 🙂 it's been too long since I last went to be honest
  16. New turbo will cost you around £900 to fix. It will need a diagnostic check carried out. Unfortunately with running a premium brand car such as Audi, bmw or Mercedes no matter how old the cars get the repair bills still stay the same due to the cost of parts.
  17. Audi retrofitters carry out upgrades to audis with standard parts. For example fitting heated seats to a non heated seat fitted Audi, fitting Bose sound system if it wasnt already fitted etc. Just Google Audi retrofitters in Nevada.

    Paint Peeling

Did you buy the car new or from Audi approved? How long have you had it? Abd I'm taking the spoiler is standard. I ask these questions because paint warranty will only be valid if the paint is original.
  19. If it's been bought from the dealer within the last 30 days, you have the right for a full refund. The dealer has to resolve this for you.
