  1. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  2. Think you'll need a retrofitter to code it for you. "The Q7 can definitely have a heated steering wheel retrofit. Takes a slip ring/column switch assembly, wiring, steering wheel and coding work". here's the link for the thread the above info cane out of: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/q7-mkii-discussion-211/heated-steering-wheel-retrofit-2981646/ This also might help: "did this retrofit last year to my Q7; got the steering wheel and stalks from eBay. Got some help from the A4 B9 forum, as the steering wheel and coding is mostly the same as in ours". Here's an account of my experience: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a4-.../#post25288253
  3. My advice would be to search for local Audi retrofitters on Google or try the same search on Facebook as a lot of retrofitters advertise their work on there 🙂
  4. That's brilliant 🤣 think you've got the nail on the head with their descriptions 😂
  5. You'll feel more response from.the 40. I'm surprised they're priced similarly when there's a different engine. Is it the same spec. Yes you could get it remapped but this will be around £300. Might be worth going for the 40 if price is so close as apposed to going for a less powerful car to remap it. Plus remapping it, you'll have to notify your insurance company as it's classes as a modification. And it'll be harder to sell on to people who want a standard car. These are things for thought
  6. Living in the county I do t know if I agree with this, but I'll admit the tourist attractions are good https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/local-news/leicestershires-answer-route-66-places-5432272
  7. That's good tax for the merc, but wegss the tax for the new Audi? and I agree about mercs fake leather. You can't beat the real thing. I only ever drove the previous a class and preferred it over the a3 In my opinion.as I felrt the interior was nicer. My dad had an 8v abd felt the interior was bland compared to the merc. Sorry I can't comment on performance or specifics as both the 8v and merc I've driven were not sporty models though).
  8. Can't speak for the new a3, but usually what ever the manufacturer quotes for fuel consumption you can take at least 10mpg off that.
  9. Exciting stuff! Keep.us posted on how you get on buddy 🙂
  10. No I don't unfortunately, abd I did do a Google search and search through the forums. As it seems to be a wiring issue, it's worth checking all of it both sides just in case there's signs of potential issues with other parts of it.
  11. That fits. Here's googles interpretation: OBD Code P2149 - Fuel Injector Group 'B' Supply Voltage Circuit/Open. This OBD-II code is defined as a Fuel Injector Group "B" Supply Voltage Circuit/Open, it is set by the Powertrain Control Module of the vehicle.
  12. So true Gareth. I'm sure it would make interesting reading!
  13. Apologies hasn't realised it was generic. Should have put my glasses on to read it properly lol. You could always speak to Audi service department to find out
  14. This type of oil is what you need. Not used it personally though. https://m.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/gearbox-oil-and-transmission-oil-11915/audi/a5/a5-8t3
  15. I'm lucky I've got a good body shop local. Will have a look at sourcing new doors
  16. No probs, sorry I can't help more
  17. It's the same here in the uk to be honest. I do hope you get to the bottom of it. I would recommend a diagnostic check to see what fault codes flag up
