  4. I'm shocked Audi hasn't got a clue. There should be more comeback from them as it's a approved used. Also have you got finance on it? If door might be worth speaking to the finance company to see if they can declare the car not fit for purpose. My other advice would be to take it to an auto electrician to see if they can do d out what's up with it.
  5. Been googling and unsure. My advice would be to cable tie them to make them secure if possible. Or ask your local mechanic what the hoses are.

  7. The automaker teamed up with public and private partners to expand its vehicle communication tech to children trying to get home safely. In 2019, there were an estimated 17 million violations of a school bus stop arm across the US. Accidents around school buses are no small problem, but Audi and a number of public and private partners believe they can use cutting-edge technology to help drivers stay within the confines of the law and make the road much safer for children. Audi on Thursday announced a new partnership with Qualcomm, Applied Information, Blue Bird, the Fulton County School System and others that will see its cellular vehicle-to-x technology (C-V2X) be applied to improve school bus safety. The initial deployment has already taken place in the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta using communications technology from Applied Information, which has connected infrastructure spread across some 78.5 square miles. Audi's Traffic Light Information takes "connected car" to a new level The goals here are twofold. The first is to evaluate alerts and alarms to improve adherence to school zone speed limit reductions. This one relies more on infrastructure itself, using a portion of the 5.9GHz spectrum that the FCC earmarked specifically for C-V2X technology. Upon entering an active school zone, a vehicle equipped with C-V2X will receive an alert, warning the driver to reduce their speed. The second goal is to reduce the number of stop-arm violations, where drivers ignore an extended stop arm signaling that children are entering or exiting the bus and may need to cross the street. The premise is similar, with the bus broadcasting its stop-arm status to nearby vehicles, which can receive a warning about an extended stop arm before the bus even comes into the driver's view, giving them plenty of time to slow down and act in a safer manner. Audi is no stranger to V2X. The automaker started dabbling with the tech in 2006, and since then, it's rolled out multiple pilot programs. Its most notable to date, Traffic Light Information, is capable of using connected infrastructure to give more detailed information on traffic light duration to drivers. TLI is now a part of some 21,000 connected traffic signals across more than 30 major metropolitan areas in the US. This pilot program can have some far-reaching effects. In addition to helping mitigate some 25,000 injuries and 100-plus fatalities every year, Audi and its partners want to showcase the capabilities of public-private partnerships like these. Ideally, these efforts could convince other automakers and public or private entities to get on board, expanding the benefits to even more groups. This stuff is very much in the fledgling stages still, as the FCC only recently approved the sliver of cellular bandwidth for C-V2X, but if these pilot programs prove effective, it could create a cascading effect that sets the stage for wider implementation. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.cnet.com/google-amp/news/audi-bluebird-v2x-school-bus-child-safety/
  8. Audi Sport Customer Racing have announced their support for the marque’s drive for a sixth overall victory t the Nurburgring 24 Hours. Three strong driver squads with twelve professionals, including nine previous winners, share the cockpits of the three Audi R8 LMS cars fielded by the factory-backed efforts this year, with Car Collection Motorsport and Phoenix Racing also preparing up to four additional private Audi R8 LMS cars. “We’re facing the world’s biggest car race again this year with our three successful Audi Sport teams Car Collection, Land and Phoenix,” says Chris Reinke, Head of Audi Sport customer racing. "In terms of drivers, we’re relying on a combination of proven winners and promising young talents.” Peter Schmidt’s Audi Sport Team Car Collection, third at the Nürburgring in 2019 and second last year with a gap of just 15 seconds, will start this year with the three winners Christopher Haase (winner in 2012 and 2014), Nico Müller (2015) and Markus Winkelhock (2012, 2014 and 2017). They will be reinforced by the Swiss Patric Niederhauser, last year’s class runner-up in the Pro-Am classification. Wolfgang and Christian Land’s Audi Sport Team Land won the 2017 competition with Kelvin van der Linde and Christopher Mies, among others. The South African and the German are also on board this year. Their teammates are the winners René Rast (2014) and Frédéric Vervisch (2019). Audi Sport Team Phoenix, based at the Nürburgring, has already won its home race three times with the R8 LMS since the beginning of the Audi Sport customer racing program plus another two times with other brands before that. The winners Frank Stippler (2012 and 2019) and Dries Vanthoor (2019) are two drivers who clinched the fifth Audi success in Ernst Moser’s team two years ago. The line-up is completed by Italian Mattia Drudi and Dutchman Robin Frijns. In addition, Phoenix Racing will enter two more Audi R8 LMS cars in the race. Six private drivers have been named, as well as, for the first time, young Audi Sport driver Dennis Marschall, runner-up in the 2016 Audi Sport TT Cup, who will share the #5 car with Jan-Erik Slooten, Max Hofer and Vincent Kolb. Frank Stippler, who will again contest the race in two cars, anchors the #11 car from Phoenix alongside reigning FIA WEC GT Drivers World Champion Nicki Thiim, Michele Beretta and Kim-Luis Schramm. Similarly, Patric Niederhauser will also be on double duty in a private Audi from Car Collection Motorsport. The team is also working on entering another private R8 LMS. With five victories since 2012, Audi is the most successful manufacturer in the modern GT3 era of the traditional event that was first staged in 1970. In addition to a sixth victory, Audi is also targeting a distance record: In 2014, the victorious Audi Sport Team Phoenix completed 159 laps. In 2017, Audi Sport Team Land completed 158 laps. Race interruptions lasting several hours due to freak weather conditions in 2016, 2018 and 2020 deprived the teams of all chances in the record chase since then. With the summer date at the beginning of June, the chances are good this year that at least this aspect will be of little consequence. A low number of accidents with local caution periods, good teams and driver squads, a sophisticated strategy and a fast and reliable race car like the Audi R8 LMS are the other factors in the hunt for the record. http://www.dailysportscar.com/2021/05/20/audi-name-n24-squads.html
  9. FC Bayern and its partner Audi have installed 21 charging points for electric vehicles at the Allianz Arena. As of this summer, the charging infrastructure will gradually be expanded, allowing electric vehicles to soon be charged in other areas of the record-holding German champions’ stadium complex. In September 2020, FC Bayern and Audi started their journey toward sustainable mobility together. The club’s fleet of vehicles has been converted to electric drive in an ongoing process. A large proportion of the squad and the club management are now on the road with fully electric vehicles in the form of the Audi e-tron or Audi e-tron Sportback. Soon, the Audi e-tron GT will be delivered to the pro athletes. Sustainable premium mobility is the focus of our strategic orientation at Audi,” says Hildegard Wortmann, Member of the Board of Management of AUDI AG for Sales and Marketing. “Together with FC Bayern, we embody progress and are sending another clear signal in favor of electrification with the expansion of the charging infrastructure.” The charging facilities at the Allianz Arena are an important investment into a sustainable future for us,” says Andreas Jung, Director of Marketing, Sponsorship, and Events at FC Bayern. “This once again makes it clear that the long-standing partnership with AUDI AG goes far beyond standard sponsorship. For our players, the atmosphere on the pitch is always electric – so it’s a fitting cooperation: both partners are future-oriented and want to make progress together.” Audi and FC Bayern have already installed 38 charging points at the training ground on Säbener Straße. They were connected to the grid in late summer of 2020, in time for the start of the Bundesliga season. FC Bayern has reduced its fleet consumption to less than 95 grams of CO2/km, and is thus making an important contribution to sustainability. Audi has stood side by side with the most successful club in German soccer since 2002, and since 2011 the brand with the four rings has also been a shareholder of FC Bayern München AG. Electrification at Audi The charging infrastructure for electric cars is constantly expanding. With the e-tron Charging Service (eCS), Audi offers access to more than 220,000 charging points in 26 countries throughout Europe. Furthermore, Audi is consistently expanding its range of electric models. In 2021, for the first time ever, more than half of the newly introduced models will be electric. This kicked off with the world premiere of the Audi e-tron GT in February. The Audi Q4 e-tron and the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron are due to be released midway through the year. With these models, Audi is making it possible for its customers to enter the electric world of Audi in the compact segment for the first time. In addition, Audi is strengthening its range in the PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) segment: around every second combustion-engine series will also feature a plug-in hybrid model this year. By 2025, Audi intends to offer more than 20 fully electric models and significantly accelerate the expansion of its PHEV range. The company predicts that by then, fully electric and hybrid automobiles will make up around one-third of its global distribution. https://www.automotiveworld.com/news-releases/charging-stations-and-e-cars-audi-electrifies-fc-bayern/
  10. You're welcome. Please keep us posted
  11. You're welcome and unfortunately not. If only life were still that simple 🙄 and they call it progress! Aka stopping owners from working on the cars themselves.
  12. Bluetooth is fitted at the factory, I think you either have it or you don't. It depends on what radio you have. It can be retrofitted but it's not cheap.
  13. I'd start off with the sensor as it's the common issue.
  14. You're welcome 😊
  15. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Looks a lovely car 👍
  16. I had a similar issue with my daily, it went back 3 times. Definitely worth contacting your insurance company. I'm with agreas and they've been brilliant. They sent out an assessor, and my advice would be to ask the insurance company to do this.
  17. I'd say ebay is your best bet: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-OEM-A4-5-6-C7-Allroad-A7-S7-A8-S8-Q5-Q7-20-Peeler-5-Segment-Alloy-Wheel-/373398091273?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286
  18. Definitely can't beat old-school. I've driven electric cars abd the experience bis weird when doing it for the first time. Acceleration is better than normal cars though so pulling away at lights can be fun lol. Thank you. Have been considering one when family grows. Think it would make a good alrounder to transport family and the two dogs.
  19. Exactly! I irony is my Audi abd Ford escort are less damaging bro the planet when you take the build process into account. The carbon used to build electric cars and ship components etc will never be equalized. People who think they're genuinely saving the planet by driving one are misguided.
  20. Nice one 👍 I always try to use EBay international when needed. I just find it easier abd often the parts are there.
  21. Have you tried EBay Germany at all?
