  1. I'd get the garage to check but I'd suspect an issue with the heater matrix.
  2. Excessive white smoke out the exhaust would be a sign of that plus if it was loosing coolant.
  3. If it's the only size Audi does then that'll be fine. You could look at buying one from eBay instead of audi.
  4. I'd recommend you do insurance quotes on comparison sites or try brokers such as performance direct. Could also try Adrian flux, have a search for Dan on here who is the Adrian flux representative for the club under insurance section.
  5. I'd recommend replacing the sensors and see if that resolved the problem. Faulty sensors aren't unheard of.
  6. You've hit the nail on the head on how to resolve the issue I'm afraid. Try applying grease first etc but the sunroof might still need disassembling.
  7. If you're buying a set of second hand set of wheels try and make sure they're fitted. You might still need them calibrating to the car.
  8. According to Audi it doesn't. But worth speaking to the dealer you've ordered from.
  9. Issue with the heater matrix is one option or issue with heater controls.
  10. This is the location on the A8. So it might be similar on the a6
  11. You're most welcome 🙂 A steering lock is a good deterrent. The best security is a ghost imobiliser
  12. Does sound like you've been caught out by untruthful individuals. In my opinion I think the car needs the brake vacuum pump replaced which is the part that's supplied and id recommend a brake fluid change at the same time. If you scan the obd port with your scanner let us know what fault codes flag up. If one flags up for the battery control module then that will explain why you have one of those as a spare. It's the oil pump that's the most concerning for me, if there's a problem with the current one then it could do damage to the engine.
  13. This is the audiConnect app on iOS.
  14. Are you certain the car has those features fitted?
  15. also checking the MOT history tyres were an advisory in 2023 but not 2024 so makes me wonder if they were changed and the ones in the boot are the old ones
  16. Right I've been researching the parts from the pics. The one below is a brake vacuum pump. Part number 03g145209c. That's probably whats wrong with the brakes. The part below is the balance shaft oil pump with part number 03g103537b. If there's a problem with the oil pump then this could damage the engine if ran. The part below is the brake fluid reservoir and is where you would top up the brake fluid. The part below is the battery control module. Part number 4f0915181a. Theres a fuse that controls the interior lights and rear window heater and this module. So if the interior lights and rear heated window isn't working then it's worth looking at fuses. I'm.nit sure which fuse it is though. This part trickles charges out to all the various components when the car is not running. It's situated in the boot bolted to the "bumper" area. All the images I can't see the part numbers. So if you take pics of the parts showing the numbers then I can help further.
  17. Jay has been messaging me and sent me some further pics of the engine bay. Can anyone determine if and what's missing from this 2.0tdi engine.
  18. You might be best looking on eBay but include international sellers
  19. Glad to hear the good news 😊 I can always find you Audi projects lol
  20. Is it via the my audi app?
  21. The thing most people forget about german cars is that no matter how cheap they become Tom purchase the maintenance costs are just the same. So like you say, people just leave it if something big starts to fail.
  22. Knew you'd change your mind kev 😉
  23. How's that going? How has the dealer been?
  24. Wowsers. Any other VAG specialists nearby?
  25. You could always get a second opinion from an Audi independent specialist.
