  1. Same here, I try to.pass on any knowledge learnt too 😊 I've learnt a lot on here to be fair
  2. Very true, not sure what the wiring is for.
  3. As it's a 69 plate, I'd advise getting Audi to have a look as it's under warranty. It shouldn't go back to 00:00 after you've set it.
  4. Worth looking at powerflow. I'd recommend them
  5. Exhaust wise you can't go wrong with a powerful stainless steel system. I'd recommend them. The lights can be retro fitted and probably best via an auto electrician.
  6. The more modern radio might not be compatible. You'd be better off with an offer market unit.
  7. Front footwell could be broken pollen filter housing or blocked battery drain holes. Had both issues abd resolved via this.
  8. It should be changed every 8 years or 120k. Just had mine changed at the 8 year mark.
  9. I'd definitely be changing the belt and water pump as you have no history. Ironically I've got the same unlocking issue with my a6 but not got it sorted yet. I'm thinking it could be the driver's door mechanism.
  10. B9 is the current model code. The code is assigned to the chassis. Any b9 mats should fit as long as you get the correct one for your gearbox. Ie manual mats might not fit automatics footwells and visa versa
  11. Diesel will have a better torque curve and will offer better mpg.
  12. It could be the driver's door mechanism failing. I had this on my a6.
  13. As you've had the sensor replaced. I'm wondering if it's the wiring that's come loose?
  14. I had a similar issue with my a6 a d it was the driver's door mechanism which had failed.
  15. I'd look at getting a retrofitter or auto electrician to do the work but I don't think.itll be cheap
  16. Hi Rob, I'd try eBay or Audi. I know what it's like to try and source them. I'm.still trying to source a genuine Audi gearbox one for my a6.
  17. It can be done but as you've pointed out it's very costly. It'll all have to be coded to the car too
  18. Might be worth getting a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up? Or get an auto electrician to take a look
  19. I'll take a look at your posts ☺️ but.ill be honest I'm not fully mechanically minded.
  20. I don't think you'll know unless you dismantle the engine. It might just have damaged the chain. It sounds like you're handy, so it might be worth carrying on.with your initial plan.
  21. I believe it can, but I'd get an auto electrician to do it.
  22. It could be the heater matrix or the heater control. You might have to take it to Audi or an Audi independent garage.
  23. Hi Joel, it might be worth getting an auto electrician to.take a look. As it can only be the float or the gauge in my opinion.
  24. This video might help 🙂
  25. I'd look at changing that first and see if it resolves the issue.
