  1. They should fit. But personally I'd keep the original wheels and refurb them. Especially due to the story behind your a6. What wheels have you got on it currently? Cheers Steve
  2. Welcome to the forum Paul you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 nice to see a fellow old a6 owner on here 🙂 I too keep mine for sentimentality. Cheers Steve
  3. How strange, I can't answer that then.

It might be an SD card which might be in the centre console or glovebox?.
  5. If you can call.audi and see what history they have on it as a start. Is this happening when the engine is hot or cold? How long do you drive before it starts to happen? What speed are you going when it happens is from x speed to stop? Cheers Steve
  6. Do t know if these are any good? https://www.onlymanuals.com/audi/a1 http://ownersmanual.audiusa.com/ https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/audi-a1-manual-pdf-download.325019/ https://www.carpdfmanual.com/audi/ Cheers Steve
  7. It's a swirl flap motor issue which I believe is an expensive fix unfortunately. http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/126678-Fault-codes-P2008-and-P2011 Cheers Steve
  8. This video might help: Cheers Steve
  9. If it's with Audi then you have the right to a courtesy car, providing you book in advance for one. As it's under warranty, I would keep at them untill it's fixed.
  10. I find the older an Audi model becomes the harder it is to source upgrades.
  11. Depending on the vent design, is there anything that can clip to the vent?
  12. Glad you've got extra features now 🙂 is it quattro? If so the allroad setting probably alters this.
  13. Very common on holder vag cars. Check the Skittles panel in the engine bay. Drain holds could be blocked with muck abd leaves. If battery situated there, check the battery tray as the drain holes are probably blocked.
  14. It could be as simple as something loose behind the radio or glovebox but I'd definitely let them look at it again as it's definitely not fixed.
  15. It's definitely worth getting a diagnostic check carried out to see if there are any fault codes stored. If any blades from the turbo have broken off then it could cause the turbo to be intermittent.
  16. I'd be taking it back to the garage as they clearly haven't resolved the issue. Obviously worse case scenario would be a dash out job.
  17. I'm surprised the blades do t unlock the doors. My advice would be to get an auto locksmith to take a look. It could be an imobiliser issue.
  18. I think you're best doing all mechanical mods before doing a remap. It will help gain slightly better torque and bhp on top of the remap on its own. My advice would be to use a remapper with a dyno for best results.
