  1. This is what I've found on Google: Audi app notifications can keep you informed about your Audi's condition. You can manage your Audi app notifications by following these steps: Go to the Overview homepage Select the menu icon to open the account settings menu Tap Notifications Select the vehicle you want to edit Tap on any feature to edit it Turn notifications on or off for that feature Choose a sound for the notification And this: https://motionforaudiconnect.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404724969367-How-do-I-manage-notifications
  2. On looking at similar systems to other models the quietest setting can be found when the car is in efficiency mode. On other models if you try and disable the system it throws up warning messages in the dash. I'd recommend you speak to Audi about the system.
  3. First warning flag for me, why has the cambelt been changed and not water pump at the same time? They should be chuffed together. Mayo you'll notice it when you unscrew the oil cap. That's a manual gearbox so less to go wrong. Check service history it's been serviced. What is the service history like? Full, part of non. Issues with the infotainment system are documented. The dial like on a BMW does control the infotainment system.
  4. Check service history to see if the cambelt and water pump has been changed (depending on mileage), same as the gearbox. Biggest issues could be with the hybrid system/batteries or motors. Che k buyers guides on YouTube.
  5. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Have you watched YouTube buyers guides. Which set of wheels are you referring too, as there's the ones on the car and ones not on the car. Check the service history of the vehicle. Has it had a Cambelt and water pump change? If it's an automatic has the gearbox oil been changed on time.
  6. Keep us posted on how you get on
  7. If you've bought this from a dealer within the last 30 days then they should be fixing this free of charge as you have the right to reject a car within 30 days of purchase.
  8. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  9. You're welcome 🙂
  10. Have you tried eBay including international sellers?
  11. Could it be a damaged crank, or bearings etc? What does the mechanic think? Only way you'll know it dismantling the engine. But from the sounds of it, it could be a big bill.
  12. I agree with cliff, most likely a seized motor.
  13. When you go to respond there's a button to click to turn off "follow topic"
  14. If the car hasn't had the remap to map out the dpf or egr then this could be the problem. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? Also the injectors can be sent off to be tested to see if any are faulty. Also have the injector seals been checked as a leaking injector seal can cause these symptoms.
  15. Well the cheapest 2014 one on eBay is £4k. So at least that'll give you some idea. It will also depend on spec. You could push £3k in the hope to get £2-2.5k at a guess
  16. What's the engine and gearbox? I ask as that often will decide what it's worth too.
  17. Please keep us posted on how you get on. Feel free to list it on here under the fir sale section (this is free to do)
  18. I think this needs Audi or an Audi specialist to rectify the key issue in my opinion. I think you'd have to sell it spares or repairs non runner.
  19. Do t get me started. I need to replace the engine in mine but all this complexity has prevented me from doing it so far.
  20. If it's anything like my 2002 A6 the imobiliser system has 3 components the instrument cluster, injection pump and ECU. Yours could be the same. To save yourself heartache I'd recommend you send your current cluster off to be repaired. Lok an eBay as there's companies that offer this service. You'll be looking at around £300+
  21. You're welcome. Are you certain it's the ECU? I ask as the instrument cluster is part of the imobiliser system and failing clusters is not unheard of
  22. Obd11, vcds, vagcom or Ross tech are all good.
  23. Is it behind the lower dash on the driver's side or kick panels?
  24. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 looks lovely 👍
  25. Id suspect a faulty switch or bad earth.
