At the dreaded cost of a new one from Audi, you're best bet I think.is to try abd get a used one from eBay or similar. Think youll need the exact part number for it to work. Plus it might need coding to the car. Cheers Steve

Is it happening with both keys or just one? If it's both abd you've changed the batteries then there could be an issue with the imobiliser etc and it might be worth getting a diagnostic check carried out. Cheers Steve

These images should help as this is how Audi do it I believe. Also I could have been wrong about the amount of litres. It could be 7-8 for the cvt. Also I've seen this on eBay which should work: https://www.ebay.com/itm/231568213543

You're welcome. When it flips in the plastic string bit (for want of a better word) goes through the hole at the back of the towing eye cover space if that makes sense.

Yea you'll definitely need the adapter, sport I forgot to mention that. The c5 is a lovely car, I love mine but I'll be honest I dont daily mine now. You could always get it recovered to a garage. If it's a Quattro model it'll need a flatbed. Cheers Steve

At the season opener at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium), Audi swept the top five positions in the second race on Sunday as it had done the day before. Defending champion René Rast narrowly won a thrilling duel with Saturday’s winner Nico Müller. The podium on Sunday was completed by Robin Frijns. It was the ninth consecutive victory for Audi in the DTM. “This was an incredible start to the season with two fantastic results for Audi,” said Head of Audi Motorsport Dieter Gass after the latest triumph of the Four Rings. “My feeling is we’ve been even stronger today than yesterday. It’s great that we can continue where we left off last year. Spa is a very special circuit where good tire management is important. But you also need engine power at Spa. We clearly saw on those two days that we have the best engine.” After a disappointing first race on Saturday, defending champion René Rast made an impressive comeback on Sunday. The driver from Audi Sport Team Rosberg secured his 14th pole position with a new track record, turning the pole position into his 18th DTM victory in the race. The German also recorded the fastest lap. It was a very good race, much better than yesterday when I was fighting with the tires,” said the two-time DTM Champion. “We improved a few things on the car, but I also worked on my driving. We got our reward for this today. It was a cool fight with Nico and Robin – fair and good. Just the way it should be. The racing with DRS and Push-to-Pass in the DTM is awesome.” Rast took the lead immediately after the start but lost it to Müller on lap four. As I suspect your q5 is keyless, the key symbol is where you place your key if for any reason the key fails to talk to the cars imobiliser. Putting the key there allows for the strongest signal between key and car. Mainly applicable when the key fob batteries start to fail etc. Cheers Steve

I thought you had to have the matching ECU etc from the car for it to work? That definitely used to be the case on older vag cars. Cheers Steve

You'd be surprised how basic some of the Audi MMI units actually are. You're best bet is to fit an aux adapter into the back.of the head unit I believe. Cheers Steve

The first thing I would look to see if there's anything trapped stopping the roof from operating as this will be the cheapest fix first off. Cheers Steve
