  1. You're welcome. One of our moderators has a le mans and they love it.
  2. Yea, just be Cary of the quality of the screen you buy. Or try ebay for the cup holder or breakers yards.
  3. Dash issue is quite common on audis of this era, but the screens can be replaced.
  4. That's great to hear ☺️
  5. Funnily enough it seems cars in general seem to be rising in price. I suppose the more the manufacturers stuff cars with stuff the more the price will rise. I mean wages haven't really increased yet car prices have risen. My a6 when new cost 28k. A new similar Audi A6 cost 45-50k.
  6. Wow! Great write up, have you ordered one then? ☺️
  7. I know you do lol
  8. It's odd that they sound different. What's the mileage difference between the two? It could be that the 2017 has loosened up more which has changed the engine note. The other option is to get them both on a ramp to see if the exhausts are the same.
  9. Thanks Trevor. Do you know how I go about sorting the licences? The trips looking like it'll be in September ☺️
  10. Welcome to the forum Aaron, you'll find the members on here are friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 lovely looking SQ7s, particularly live the red one 👍 My advice would be to try another Audi dealer if possible.
  11. I believe it's normal 🙂
  12. That's annoying, but eBay is your friend: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A1-S-Line-2015-1-6-Tdi-Complete-Exhaust-/154460824862?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Exhaust-System-Muffler-End-Pipe-Audi-A1-Sportback-Facelift-8XA-1-6-Tdi-/324594500642?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286
  13. Congratulations on your purchase ☺️ what spec is the a2? And here you go: "There are 2 type of engines in the A2 1.4 TDI (55 kw!). From 1999 till (sept?) 2003 it is the AMF type engine which needs a cambelt change every 90.000 KM (60.000 miles) and the BHC type engine fitted after (sept?) 2003 with an interval of 120.000 KM (75.000 miles)." To be fair it should be in the service book as to when it needs doing.
  14. Hope you get it sorted
  15. Most definitely. An update shouldn't be that hard to do.
  16. I've worked it out at 2,218 miles which should be doable as the a6 has done that kind of road trip miles before. Thank you for that ☺️ if my mate has bought the apartment then I'm contemplating dropping Mercia abd maybe adding in a trip to Tangier (because I'm either brave or stupid) as then the Audi had officially been in another continent. But I Know it'll make the trip more complicated abd slightly more stressful as the border crossing is a nightmare.
  17. Hello all, I'm thinking of doing a road trip this year, covid rules permitting. This is my itinerary, what do you think? Portsmouth-santander-madrid-mercia-marbella-gibraltar-Faro Portugal-lisbon via Lagos/ Alcacer do sal-porto-santiago de compestela-santander-portsmouth. I've mapped it out into manageable junks and the longest stint between these destinations is 4 hours 39mins. I'm giving myself 14 days to complete it and there will be over night stops at each place (excluding Portsmouth and Santander as I'll be on the ferry). Considering 2 night stops in Gibraltar and one other location but haven't decided which one. I've chosen Mercia as a friend should have bought a apartment by the time I intend to go. I've chosen Marbella as I know there's an English garage there so I can get the Audi fixed if there's any problems.
  18. That's a pain. I've just had a look but not found anything. I think your next best bet is a German car specialist or Audi specialist
  19. If the material is In good condition it might be able to be glued back into position. Probably best done by a body shop though.
