  1. Thanks for that Ray, will be useful for various members I think 🙂
  2. Does sounds like you're another victim of this. You can try your luck at seeing if Audi will cover any of it under warranty but doubtful as the car is 11 years old and not full service history. My advice would be to bite the bullet and get it fixed. But be warned, it's not cheap. Cheers Steve
  3. She'll definitely be a future classic. I'd do her up as you've got so much history with it. But again I'm biased as that's what I've done with my c5 as my dad bought it new. I'm sure you could find a performance cat cheaper from companies like demon tweeks. Cheers Steve
  4. Another great video. 👍
  5. An upgraded amp would finish off your new system I think 👍
  6. Could be a temp sensor or the valves in the ac. I'd get a diagnostic check carried out to see if there are any fault codes. Cheers Steve
  7. How odd, I therefore stand corrected. Yes I'd say there's an issue. Might be worth getting ban auto electrician to take a look. Cheers Steve
  8. I'd get it to the garage you bought it from asap as you have 30 days! Think the antenna for the sat nav and tuner is the same but I thought they worked independently,
  9. You're welcome John, glad you got sorted 🙂
  10. Well we know it's an engine seizure 😉
  11. This is fantastic info, great work. Sure will help fellow owners 👍 Cheers Steve
  12. Well depending on what kind of driving you do should help you decide whether to go for a diesel or petrol. Diesel better for motorway commutes. Petrol better for short journeys. It's all in the service history. Ideally should be full and make sure csmbelts/water pumps have been replaced on time. Make sure everything works on the car as parts can be expensive this includes the ac. Make sure the gears are smooth as clutches aren't cheap. Same for automatics. This YouTube video should help: Cheers Steve
  13. I'd replace it and see if that resolved the issue to be honest. Cheers Steve
  14. Al very similar to be honest. Take a look at the forums car detailing section for more info 👍
  15. Welcome to the forum, glad you're pleased with your Q5 🙂 keep us posted on how you get on with the investigation. Cheers Steve
  16. I do t believe it does. Was it a genuine Audi center? Cheers Steve
  17. Sounds like an issue with the antenna or tuner, this should flag up as a fault code and a diagnostic check is probably the way forward. Or contact a good auto electrician. How long have you owned the car? I must add that the TV won't probably work whilst the car is moving for safety. Cheers Steve
  18. Welcome to the forum John, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 very nice looking Audi. Think the sat nav used an SD card which can be found either in the glovebox or armrest. If it's built in then it's an update at Audi I'm affraid. Cheers Steve
  19. Hi Allan, please could you provide more details? Cheers Steve
  20. Sorry to hear of your issues but unfortunately I can't persuade you not to buy a Merc. I find Mercedes are more reliable than both BMW and Audi. BMW is worse for reliability. Ironically I think Jag is currently on the up in terms of it's reliability. I think the mercs are better quality too in my opinion. Cheers Steve
  21. I'd avoid tuning boxes. A remap is a better/safer way. My advice would be to shop around as companies vary in increases and price. Better to go with a remapper who has a dyno for best results. Cheers Steve
  22. Could have sworn I've seen this issue already mentioned on the forum and believe it to be a sensor if I'm not mistaken. I'd get a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. Cheers Steve
  23. Brill, thanks for the update 🙂
