  1. It could be the steering wheel controls which come as a complete unit. Might be worth buying a second hand one on eBay to see if that resolves it
  2. The first two things I'd look at is the battery, when was it last changed? The life expectancy of a battery is 5-7 years. If it's getting nearer the 6-7 year mark I'd recommend a battery tray from Halfords or similar. If the battery is ok then my next question would be to look at when the spark plugs and ht leads were last changed.
  3. You could always look at a good second hand part off eBay ☺️
  4. Both Audi dealers aren't wrong. 5w30 is the norm, but I was always lead to believe you couldn't just switch to a different oil, at least without flushing the system
  5. What wheel difference is between your car and your mates? try to replace them for Audi ones.
  6. Thank you for that Trevor, will look into this with the local post office as they're very good 🙂 looking to go in September. Getting quite excited already 🙂
  7. This might help: https://www.pscautocentre.co.uk/products/automatic-gearbox-oil-change-for-audi-q7-6-speed-tiptronic-quattro-models This too:
  8. Exactly. It's ridiculous.
  9. So true. Long term the powers that be want all us minions off the road. For anything electric to be truely green it has to at least equalise it's carbon offset from the build process. Now here's how using electric vehicles is done properly: Built by Brush of Loughborough in the 1930s and still going strong at Blackpool!
  10. You're welcome. One of our moderators has a le mans and they love it.
  11. Yea, just be Cary of the quality of the screen you buy. Or try ebay for the cup holder or breakers yards.
  12. Dash issue is quite common on audis of this era, but the screens can be replaced.
  13. That's great to hear ☺️
  14. Funnily enough it seems cars in general seem to be rising in price. I suppose the more the manufacturers stuff cars with stuff the more the price will rise. I mean wages haven't really increased yet car prices have risen. My a6 when new cost 28k. A new similar Audi A6 cost 45-50k.
  15. Wow! Great write up, have you ordered one then? ☺️
