  1. That's good to hear as dpfs are a nightmare
  2. I've not heard of a petrol particulate filter either. This seems like another new idea to cause more mechanical problems for owners and thus big bills. Glad you like the car.
  3. The trim will either be clipped or glued in. Here's an idea of costing for a new door card: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283939210689 Here's the trim which shows a part number: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324437867648 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402843326215
  4. Fair point! Mind you I bet it's more fun on two wheels anyway! We're planning to attend some shows this year and have a club display, you'd be more than welcome to come along ☺️
  5. Definitely! And good idea to wait after warranty ☺️ you'll have to get your a6 out on track. I did It with my a6 a couple of years ago.
  6. You could always get it remapped for extra power 👍
  7. Think the buyer should be ok as lie you and I they're buying the a5 from main dealer.
  8. We did the same with my wife's jag which we bought through covid from a main dealer in the next county. Couldn't due a test drive due to covid rules other than a short stint in the carpark. However my wife bought it and loves it. Always wanted a jag. But if it wasn't a main dealer and just an independent garage then we wouldn't have done it. Most of the warranties independent garages offer aren't worth the paper they're written on.
  9. Sorry to hear. Might be worth you looking at international eBay sellers. Especially from Germany etc.
  10. Fair play 👍
  11. My advice would be to look on eBay 🙂
  12. So glad you got it sorted 🙂 sorry your post was unanswered. Cheers Steve
  13. What the hell! Good job I didn't take my Audi there then. How can you be a specialist if you don't do engines?! The garage I use is AC motor services in Syston. They're pretty good and have kept my a6 on the road since it was 3 years old.
  14. I suspect the seat adjustment cable as either come loose or snapped. This video (for a golf) might help as I suspect it's similar system on the 8p
  15. Looks great! Glad you're other half likes it too 🙂 hope you had a great trip out in it today 🙂
  16. I'm the same, I still use CDs to be honest, I'll dread changing away from cds and into the modern age lol
