  3. Simply Audi will be on the 16th April 2023. It's definitely the best show of the season so who's interested? https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-audi/ Please let me know if you'd like to come and I'll add you to the list ☺️ 1. Steve Q 2. Jack 3. Stuart

You're welcome, sorry they do t fit. I bought a stainless one for my Ford kuga from ebay so might be with trying there too.
  6. Yep it could be thinking about it. Or a relay or module

I'd recommend rgm my dad has had them on his mercs and they're good quality. Here's the link to the q2 one: https://rgmautomotive.co.uk/product/abs-rgm-rearguard-audi-q2/
  8. Getting it checked by a professional is definitely the best course of action you're taking. Is the steering electric or hydraulic? If it's the former then a failing battery could be causing an issue. Especially as the battery would have to work harder when moving the car at slower speeds when parking etc And it's definitely worth getting the battery checked. I admit this doesn't explain the knocking noise. If it's hydraulic (most likely) then it could be a pump or pulley issue.
  9. I believe you'll have to change the headlight.
  10. It is definitely the best Audi show of the year 👍 and good value for money when you consider you get access to the museum and manor house.
  11. You're welcome ☺️ wow really I wouldn't be surprised! My advice for security would be to a ghost alarm. My mate has one on his campervan and it's a neat bit of kit.
  12. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch ☺️ Sorry to hear of your issues, the sat nav one is definitely common and is as you say linked to the antenna. Regarding software updates I'd advise you get Audi to do this for your peace of mind.
  13. What you should have is the spare wheel or tyre weld, compressor, wheel jack, locking wheel nut and towing eye.
  14. Thanks for sharing this. I hadn't started looking at the 22 shows yet. Will do now though. I'll definitely be attending.
  15. I'd definitely recommend having the system fully bled first. Then check all rubber coolant hoses.

I'm surprised it didn't come with a dipstick. I've found two on ebay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A5-8T-A6-C7-2-0-TDi-Oil-Dipstick-Dip-Stick-New-Genuine-03L115611AC-/133532394986?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-A6-C7-3-0-V6-TDI-Diesel-Engine-Oil-Dip-Stick-New-Genuine-059115611AM-/133392853196?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
  17. If the car is still under warranty it's definitely worth getting Audi to take a look. I appreciate that's unlikely as we're nearly at the end of 2021 now.
  18. I do t believe it's possible due to the door being pillarless. Plus even if you could they would probably foul on the window when it automatically goes up/down when the doors open/close. https://www.a5oc.com/threads/rs5-a5-door-wind-deflectors.76250/
  19. This might help: https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/135763-Rear-LED-failure-on-outer-rear-indicators-part-of-main-tail-light-cluster You might have to change the light unit.
  20. I guess it depends what's wrong with the drive system. Amber warning means car can still be driven with caution. But if the warning is red then it means you shouldn't drive it. You could always call out your break down company as they'll do a diagnostic check for you.
  21. I had this on my a6 c5. I had to have an auto electrician fix the central locking system and repair a broken wire in the system. My central locking is still hit and miss so I think my ccm is failing. However your car is a lot newer so I would definitely recommend a diagnostic check. Have you switched off the interior alarm? To see if it stops the main alarm going off. I ask as a fly or spider could set off the alarm via the interior sensors.
  22. Have you got a picture? This is whst I've found on Google.
  23. Hmm, now how is that fair. I'd be tempted to remove the stickers on my two old cars including my a6 out if principal.
  24. Now I've learnt something new 🙂
  25. My advice would be to look.at YouTube buyers videos. The mileage isn't a problem as long as it's been fully maintained. Unfortunately at the age mileage it's due another cambelt and water pump change I believe as it's every 5 years or 120k which ever comes first.
