  1. atleast you can rule out the battery.
  2. That's a good point Dave.
  3. My bet would be on a faulty hazard switch. Id recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. This is quite common on the C5 Dave, and it's most often caused by the hazard switch failing as I had similar problems with my C5.
  4. You'll need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. It's probably the roof clamps that has failed. Problem if you can't get into the boot as you could manually control the boot from there.
  5. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  6. I know how this feels. Still need an engine for my A6. All the second hand ones don't come with service history or unconfirmed mileage etc.
  7. Get the part number and buy a second hand headlight to see if that cures the problem.
  8. Please keep us posted on how you get on

  11. Could this be a wiring/earthing issue? Might be worth asking an auto electrician to take a look
  12. This could be caused by the battery if it's old and not operating properly. Might be worth having it checked first.
  13. You're welcome 🙂 please keep us posted on how you get on
  14. You're most welcome. You need to make sure you get one from the same engine and gearbox as yours as the undertrays can vary depending on the engine or gearbox due to there differing in size etc.
  15. It might not be as bad as you think as the under tray is in two parts. Front for the engine and rear for the gearbox. Looks like it's come apart at the join.
  16. Aircon compressor could be at fault. Has the system been pressure tested?
  17. Id recommend you get a second opinion from another Audi dealership as well as from an Audi independent specialist. Then contact the motoring ombudsman. You'll be waiting 6 months for a reply though.
  18. Keep us posted on how you get on
  19. It's the intercooler pump. A member had a similar issue the other day: https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php/198777-P-190-d
  20. You need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Also what engine has the car got? Does it happen in certain weather or temperature conditions? Any warning lights on? Any recent other work done to the car?
  21. You're welcome 🙂 That I'm not sure.
  22. This link might help: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/432653/%3famp=1 But looks like it could be an egr being stuck open.
  23. Please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  24. Just one way of you getting the roof down to enjoy the sunshine
