  1. Hope the engine and airbag issues are as simple as they appear. The compressor controls the air pressure. If it wasn't working then the car would drop to the floor. Cheers Steve
  2. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Please see the link to my thread on here for 1.8t mods. Cheers Steve
  3. Glad you've found this post useful 🙂 I personally haven't used the Bluetooth products so can't recommend any unfortunately. My advice would be to Google them and look at the reviews. Cheers Steve
  4. First thing id check is that everything for the air con system has been tightened up. Then I'd inspect the condenser. In failing that it could be the controls. Cheers Steve
  5. Hi Mike, as you seem mechanically minded, I think your best course of action would be to dismantle the dpf and examine it's condition. Clean it a f change the second sensor or both and then see if that sorts it. Cheers Steve
  6. No I don't believe it will. If you want a sports exhaust then I'd recommend Powerflow. My mate and brother have both had exhausts from.them and the quality abd sound is superb. Cheers Steve
  7. Welcome to the forum Joe, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Sounds like you've got a good project there 👍 Cheers Steve
  8. Sounds like you've made a good start David, hope the garage rectify the suspension, airbag and engine faults. Don't let them fob you off. The MMI upgrade is very expensive if you get someone to install it. Cheers Steve
  9. Have you changed both level sensors? Does the car change ride height ok? If it were a compressor then I it would be sat on.the floor. If you had a leak in the system then it would go.down over a period of time ie over night. Cheers Steve
  10. It's brilliant, thank you 😊
  11. Please keep us posted. Sorry what you tried didnt work. Cheers Steve
  12. Glad you've got it working can't explain why though unless when you set it Scandinavian dRL it reset the system? Cheers Steve
  13. I believe so 🙂
  14. The first thing I'd be checking is the battery. Is it holding charge etc. Yod be surprised how many electrical problems can stem from a worn out battery. Cheers Steve
  15. Yep it's a faff. The bumper has to come off for you to replace the grill I believe band you have to get at some of it by removing the wheels and wheel arch liners. I also believe the rs6 grill from the same era fits too. Cheers Steve
  16. Welcome to the forum Mark, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 it could be a faulty motor. Can be fixed with a simple overhaul and less than £100 rather than £1500 quoted by Audi. One repairer is Autoelectron via Ebay: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/autoelectron From what I hear they're very helpful and quick turnaround. Definitely worth checking out. I have no association with them. Or it could be one of the micro switches is stuck open and is preventing the system from continuing the full cycle. Best way is to stick the manual key between the rear seat cavity and reset it manually. move it up or down until fully close or fully open, remove the key and try with the switch, is always better with the engine running as it takes a lot of power to operate a full cycle. Hope I've helped. Cheers Steve
  17. Can't say I've seen one on here yet Allen. Might be worth putting the same post on our Facebook page. Cheers Steve
  18. Welcome to the forum James, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch. Are either these the one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223663096008 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223666906935 Cheers Steve
  19. Glad you got sorted. 👍
  20. Welcome to the forum Tina, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 What damage has the bumper got? Have you got pictures of the damage? Cheers Steve
  21. I would say if the part number is the same then you should be ok. It might be a newer/older version of the same part. Cheers Steve
