  1. Ah, that's a shame.
  2. I've heard the fit and finish of chinese parts isn't to oe quality. If I were you I'd look on eBay.
  3. Welcome to the forum 🙂 glad you got sorted. Thank you for your great advice. Cheers Steve
  4. How long have you owned the car? It could be due to the colder weather. If you've had it more than one winter then you'll know what it idles at in winter. My other advice would be a diagnostic check to see what fault codes flag up. As a long shot the MAF sensor could be on the way out.
  5. It sounds like you e been sent the wrong part. The correct one for yours is the 16mm whereas the new ones which are incorrect are designed for the rs6 and s6 I believe. Might be worth you sending them back and getting them to send out the correct part.
  6. Yea, it's definitely worth looking into 👍
  7. It could be an abs sensor, or the pump definitely worth getting that diagnostic check ☺️
  8. Same here, I try to.pass on any knowledge learnt too 😊 I've learnt a lot on here to be fair
  9. Very true, not sure what the wiring is for.
  10. As it's a 69 plate, I'd advise getting Audi to have a look as it's under warranty. It shouldn't go back to 00:00 after you've set it.
  11. Worth looking at powerflow. I'd recommend them
  12. Exhaust wise you can't go wrong with a powerful stainless steel system. I'd recommend them. The lights can be retro fitted and probably best via an auto electrician.
  13. The more modern radio might not be compatible. You'd be better off with an offer market unit.
  14. Front footwell could be broken pollen filter housing or blocked battery drain holes. Had both issues abd resolved via this.
  15. It should be changed every 8 years or 120k. Just had mine changed at the 8 year mark.
  16. I'd definitely be changing the belt and water pump as you have no history. Ironically I've got the same unlocking issue with my a6 but not got it sorted yet. I'm thinking it could be the driver's door mechanism.
  17. B9 is the current model code. The code is assigned to the chassis. Any b9 mats should fit as long as you get the correct one for your gearbox. Ie manual mats might not fit automatics footwells and visa versa
  18. Diesel will have a better torque curve and will offer better mpg.
  19. It could be the driver's door mechanism failing. I had this on my a6.
  20. As you've had the sensor replaced. I'm wondering if it's the wiring that's come loose?
  21. I had a similar issue with my a6 a d it was the driver's door mechanism which had failed.
  22. I'd look at getting a retrofitter or auto electrician to do the work but I don't think.itll be cheap
  23. Hi Rob, I'd try eBay or Audi. I know what it's like to try and source them. I'm.still trying to source a genuine Audi gearbox one for my a6.
  24. It can be done but as you've pointed out it's very costly. It'll all have to be coded to the car too
