  1. You're most welcome 👍
  2. You keep safe too 🙂
  3. You're welcome 😊 and with that power I'm not surprised it moves 😉 Would be great to see your car at shows when they start up again 👍 Cheers Steve
  4. Not a problem 😊
  5. I'd check any issues with the roof as well as the scuttle panel to see if water is getting in through either of those. Cheers Steve
  6. That's fully understandable too in light of the current situation. Keep us posted on how you get on with your search. Cheers Steve
  7. Welcome to the forum Craig, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 😊 Lovely looking SQ5 you have there. Cheers Steve
  8. Think you're on the right lines with changing the door lock mechanism. Did that cute the problem? Cheers Steve
  9. Hi Simon, what colour is the smoke? White smoke would indicate head gasket and black smoke could indicate egr/dpf I think. Cheers Steve
  10. I'm wondering if this is either an imobiliser issue. Have you tried starting it with the spare key? Cheers Steve
  11. I'm wondering if there an issue with the alarm module. My dad had a similar issue on his Mercedes and he had to have a new alarm module which rectified the issue. Cheers Steve
  12. Not too clued up on wiring but think they'll be two wires running from the handle to the catch. You're welcome, hope you get the issue sorted soon 😊 Cheers Steve
  13. Does sound like it could be the vacuum pump. But the central locking issue could be linked to the drivers door locking mechanism which controls the rest of the central locking. I had a similar issue and it cost me £120 to fix. Cheers Steve
  14. We'll definitely keep an eye out for you 😊 Cheers Steve
  15. I don't think.itll be cheap I think you'll want to factor in £600 but that's a guess. I think you'll need the matching clicks and ecu from the new engine to make it all work as Audi code the clocks, ecu abd engine all to the car. Cheers Steve
  16. Like you I would suspect a wheel bearing Cheers Steve
  17. I've had the exact same issue. Had to have the pollen filter housing replaced. Not the most expensive part to change but definitely should cute the issue. Cheers Steve
  18. Hi Keith, I believe the fogs, wipers and heater fans are all connected to a control module. If the module fails it can stop these systems from working. I'm sure it's called a ccm? It sounds to me an issue with this to be honest. Cheers Steve
  19. Welcome to the forum Tony, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 😊 When I had a similar issue I just replaced like for like as I found it the easiest way. Cheers Steve
  20. Welcome to the forum Paul, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 😊 When I had a similar issue itbwas the drivers door locking mechanism which was at fault. In my case the drivers door mechanism controls the rest of the central locking. My car was repaired by an auto electrician and cost £120. Cheers Steve
  21. Sounds faulty but I'd suspect a loose wire as you can open it from the key. That would indicate to me that the catch itself is working abd would mean the handle mechanism to be at fault. Cheers Steve
  22. Sorry your having Ian, at least they've admitted they're aware of a fault. Have they got back to you yet? I suspect they'll be trying to put off dismantling the engine to be honest. Cheers Steve
