  7. Hi Rick I believe fan issues aren't uncommon on the b8 and I believe most of the time the faults are linked back to the fan motor or the motor controller. Cheers Steve
  8. Welcome to the forum Alex, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 with the age/mileage you're looking at make sure all electronic items work including ac etc. Here's a video that might help: cheers Steve

  10. Truthfully I can't remember the price of a full service as it was some years ago. My advice would be to ring round your local Audi dealers to compare quotes. As some dealers may have offers on servicing where's others won't. Cheers Steve
  11. If it's the first service it should be oil and oil filter plus inspection (minor service). When I worked at Volkswagen a minor service cost £169. You can always take your Audi to a VAT registered garage and as long as they use genuine Audi parts it won't affect the warranty. Cheers Steve
  12. Glad it did 🙂 so, did you buy the Q7? Cheers Steve
  13. Minimum fuel could be 5 miles! Needless to say I try not to run empty as you ring the risk of running out and knackering the fuel pump.
  14. You're welcome, I just wouldn't want you to getting stung or mislead by the garage, even if you've trusted them for years. That's a cheap increase by your insurance, sure you're happy with that 🙂 Cheers Steve

  16. Well an old rule of thumb was once the car was showing empty on the gauge you'd still have maximum 20 miles of range left. This will depend on your driving style. Ironically my wife did test the theory and ran out at over 20 miles in one of her old cars.
