Scammed by an approved audi dealer?
What did Audi the dealer say when this is the second time it's happened? A good way to tell if the car has had a major service will be to.loook at the air filter or pollen filter as these should be clean.

Adaptive suspension
I'd say yes it's more to go wrong but you shouldn't have any suspension issues on a 43k car in my opinion.

2004 - 2.0tdi reliability
You won't be disappointed, i.love mine. The stickers are a common issue. They like to wear out front suspension arms.

Airbag warining light still shine
I'd check the wiring under the front seats as this seems to be a common Audi issue.

Steering angle sensor
Definitely worth a shot with the eBay option. Check the feedback though. The steering wheel is easy to remove but remember to disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected for at least 30 mins before removing it.

They're solid cars as long as they've been maintained. Full service history is key. This video might help:

Missing Parking Assist with Parking aid plus - retrofit?
I'm sure a retrofitter can do it but I suspect it won't be cheap. Sounds like the dealer has mis-sold the car to you.

2004 - 2.0tdi reliability
Beautiful ❤️ my a6 is a similar spec and a year older. My dad bought mine new in 2002 abd I inherited it. Mines done 332k on the original engine and gearbox which have never been rebuilt. 90k is very low mileage and should provide you reliable service 🙂

Definitely don't think the brake pad sensors would put it in limp mode. But not sure about the oil level situation. Is that down to a sensor I wonder? If so then hypothetically it could be this.
