  1. That sounds like a great result Em! 🙂
  2. Not a problem Steve, hope it's useful 🙂
  3. Lol 😂 glad they got you on medication for it Gareth. We certainly don't want two John Prescotts around! 😂 Thanks, I have mentioned the raised issue with Trevor yesterday so we'll see what we can do 🙂 not a problem Gareth, it's what us mods and admins are here for. It's not caused additional work, honestly. Updating the rules is a simple yet effective temporary measure 🙂 cheers Steve
  4. Welcome to the forum and David, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 sorry to hear of the loss of your grandfather. im hoping someone can help you here. cheers Steve
  5. What a game! I've been playing NSP undercover and nearly completed it again 😉 Can't beat Abit of gta San Andreas or Gran truismo 4 either!
  6. Totally agree Sean. Ed seems a genuine bloke whereas Mike just was sleezy.
  7. Welcome to the forum Steve, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the a7 is a lovely car and you won't be disappointed in my opinion. Here's a buyer's guide which might help: Cheers Steve
  8. Well Gareth, I'm highly offended of you for using the word Jaguar on here and do not feel it is appropriate, haha! (Only joking!). Truthfully I'm not sure exactly who has dealt with the programming but it's something I'll discuss with Trevor. Are you wanting us to get rid of abreviated "rude" words or getting rid of the "!removed!" Icon for all words? I think the latter would be harder to do so in order to not to allow any members to get offended. But thankfully we have a great bunch of members and luckily this type of behavior doesn't happen often. I too had a chuckle when a new member joined and his name had been "! removed!" As his name was d.i.c.k. I only knew this was his name because of his email address! Thank you for your kind words Gareth and it's nice for our hard work to be appreciated. We definitely do try our best for all our members 🙂 But we should be saying thank you to you to Gareth as your advice and guidance towards members is greatly appreciated by all of us on the admin/moderator team 🙂 Cheers Steve
  9. Welcome to the forum Steve, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 can you tell me whether or not the headunit is lighting up at all? cheers Steve
  10. Welcome to the forum Asif, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the video Paul has shown you.is very useful, but also check out the a3 8p section on here as well as the cars for sale section. my word of advice would be to check to see if the a3 you are looking at has had the emissions recall carried out. If it's had it carried out recently then I'd be asking questions as to why it's for sale. There's been a lot of documented issues surrounding the emissions recall. I can also say this from first hand experience after working in a volkswagen service department. If it were me I'd be avoiding cars that have had it done to be honest. cheers Steve
  11. You're welcome, and I'm not surprised! 😉 Cheers Steve
  12. Welcome to the forum Alan, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the rust on.the wings is a common issue on vag cars from this era. Replacing the wings is the best long term solution as the wings rust from the inside out. This is because vag thought it was a good idea to fit foam inserts on the inside of the wings to help with the fitment of the wheel arch liners. Obviously the foam absorbs moisture and thus causes the rust. you could sandblast it and fill the gaps with filler then paint over it as a temporary fix but as I say long term you'll need new wings. cheers Steve
  13. Not a problem Rob just let us know 🙂
  14. I still play on the PS2 as I still.love my older games 🙂
  15. Welcome to the forum Osbertqororia, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 kenya is a lovely country and I can't think of a better car to have there! I'd love to see pics of your a6 allroad in Kenya 🙂 the answer to your question is yes they can be made to fit but you'll probably have to modify the shell slightly to make them fit. from donor car you'll need all the ecus, fuseboxes etc. Youll have to custom make engine mounts and gearbox mounts. Truthfully though I think you'd be better off keeping the 2.5tdi as it's less complicated than the later engines. cheers Steve
  16. You're welcome, glad I could help 🙂 cheers Steve
  17. Yea sounds good to me Stuart 🙂
  18. You're welcome 🙂
  19. Welcome to the forum David, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 glaf you're happy with your a3 and the 80 is a lovely car too 🙂 cheers Steve
  20. Welcome to the forum Jeff, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 In theory your a4 can be fitted with an electric opening boot but it won't be cheap. You'd be looking at £1000-£1500 to have it retrofitted and you'd be best getting the parts from eBay. You'd also need to programed to the comfort control module I believe. cheers Steve
  21. Welcome to the forum Mark, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 i believe the radio you are referring to is concert and I think the only way for you to have Bluetooth is to fit an aftermarket kit. cheers Steve
