  1. Hi Ryan, When you say you intend to fit lowering springs are you intending to fit matching shocks? I mean depending on the spec of your a3 you could always fit s line suspension which will.lower the car and firm up the ride without compromising the factory quality. Eibach and h&r get good reviews but can't say I've ever used them. Cheers Steve
  2. Sounds similar to me, my dad bought the a6 new and he gave it to me when he got a company car approx 3 years ago. The mg sounds like a good purchase 🙂 I do hope you find a buyer. cheers Steve
  3. Aww that's a shame! But yeah pistonheads is a good bet 🙂 goid luck with the sale 🙂 cheers Steve
  4. Like you Scott I'm.not a fan of budget tyres, people forget that the tyres are a key component to keeping a car on the road and bit just an inconvenience for MOT time etc. I wonder if the poor owner had bought the car not knowing what tyres it had on. You'd be surprised how often people don't check the tyre manufacturer but ask about tread. It's quite common for dealers to put budget tyres on cars and I've known main dealers to do the same! Cheers Steve
  5. Wow it's stunning 🙂 soubds like you've got a lovely moter 🙂 cheers Steve
  6. Welcome to the forum Jason, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Sorry to hear you're selling your rs6, what are you getting instead? i would have said pistonheads but you can put an ad under our for sale section. cheers Steve
  7. Welcome to the forum Derek, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 You'll need to see when the cambelt and water pump were last changed as this can be a costly repair. Also if the car you're looking at has xenon headlights, make sure all the bulbs work as the bulbs and headlights can be expensive to replace. Here's a YouTube video which may help: Cheers Steve
  8. Welcome to the forum Andrew, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 your a7 looks great 🙂 cheers Steve

  12. That's good mileage Nick 🙂 had anything go wrong at all? My a6 2.5tdi v6 is on 329k on the original engine and gearbox which have never been rebuilt 🙂
  13. Welcome to the forum Mike, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 When you say it happens at slow speed in town, Is it whilst traveling straight or around a corner? Is it over speedhumps or not? have you had the car on a ramp to inspect for any damage or checked the caravan underneath? cheers Steve
  14. Not a problem Terry, please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂 cheers Steve
  15. Welcome to the forum Marcin, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 it might be worth you speaking to Audi as I don't think the cap should be lost so easily especially on a new car. They may do a discounted one for you or ideally free. cheers Steve
  16. It'll need to be the same model as yours 🙂
  17. Welcome to the forum Ian, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the locking issue could be caused by a failing drivers door lock/locking mechanism. I had a similar issue non my a6 and an auto electrician charged me £120 to fix it. But the first thing I'd change are the fob batteries if you haven't already. if there is no noise from the washer pump then I'd check the fuse as the first point of call. Cheers Steve
  18. Welcome to the forum Tommo, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 lovely looking a4 you have there and the colour is gorgeous 🙂 cheers Steve
  19. Nice one! And that's definitely a good price 🙂 please let us know how you get on 🙂 cheers Steve
  20. Dont worry about it Jay, we all get days like that and I wouldn't be happy if it had happened to me. With the nature of the failure on the car I would expect them to go above and beyond. I think your only option is to get them to pick up and collect your Audi and bring you a courtesy car at the same time. I hope it gets fixed quickly for you 🙂 we are always looking at ways of improving the site and any suggestions are welcome. Excluding the ads unfortunately, we can't do anything about them I'm affraid. cheers Steve
