You raise a good point, I'm not sure on.the consumption rate but factors that'll affect it are: dpf regeneration, stop start, type of driving, temperature of the engine etc. Cheers Steve
  2. Nice work Las, I'm sure members will definitely find this useful! :) Cheers Steve
  3. Hi Jon, I'm wondering if the battery has to be coded to the car? Cheers Steve
  4. Hmm, you have me stumped Paul!
  5. Welcome to the forum Sam, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Sorry your post wasn't responded too. I had clearly missed it, so apologies for that. I think you've made a wise choice. The last few cars have come from main dealers and haven't had issues whereas the same can't be said from buying from independent garages. Usually the main dealers keep the best used cars. Cheers Steve
  6. Welcome to the forum Benjamin, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I would think it's mechanical rather than tyres. Is the noise within the cabin or coming from the engine bay? Have you noticed if the noise occurrs if you rev the car in neutral? Cheers Steve
  7. That's good then, it's always good to combine the work to save trips to the dealer! :)
  8. It could be, I know on the a6 c7 the auto boxes have been know to stop selecting gears if the oil hasn't been changed. Cheer Steve
  9. I'm unsure what the numbers relate to but Id guess that Audi are number 23
  10. Yea, please continue Gareth as I enjoy this thread :) I'd just missed this post! Sorry.

Welcome to the forum Mike, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I would suspect the adblue tank is smaller due to the q7 drivetrain. Cheers Steve
  12. Nice one. I've bought some to try for the run to Southampton this weekend :) so fingers crossed it helps!
  13. Hi John it definitely sounds like the previous owner has fitted the wrong pads. My advice would be to ring Audi directly, Euro car parts or Parker's. Cheers Steve
  14. Welcome to the forum Rico, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) You may need to change the connectors to make it fit as well as requiring the radio code. May also need to custom make some brackets for the radio or modify the current bracket. Cheers Steve
  15. Hi Steve, I'm glad you've managed to diagnose then problem. I know you're not going to like this answer but if it were me I wouldn't drive it in case I do more damage. Cheers Steve
  16. Welcome to the forum Dan, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) My advice would be to get a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. I'd also be weary about driving your a4 as you could be doing more damage to the gearbox long term. Out of curiosity do you know when the gearbox oil was last changed? Cheers Steve
  17. That's a result :) glad it's sorted :) Cheers Steve
  18. I believe you can get aftermarket bumpers that get rid of the piece you highlight in red. My advice would be to try eBay to see what aftermarket bumpers are available :) Cheers Steve
  19. Welcome to the forum Tom, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) It's definitely worth checking the wiring first as it could be a faulty earth. It might also be worth you getting a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up. or get an auto electrician look at it as it.nat be a quick fix. Cheers Steve
  20. Thanks! I even think the wing mirror is blue and not black! But again that could just be my eyes!
  21. Welcome to the forum Kenaimad, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) The a3 v6 is lovely but it does like it's fuel! It's a double whammy really as you've also gone from diesel to petrol. Cheers Steve
