  1. Sorry to hear you're still having issues. Keep fighting because they'd love to charge you for the work if it was out of warranty!
  2. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  3. Sorry for the delayed reply, did you get this sorted? Not sure it should be dropping after 6 days. I'd definitely say it's a leaking bag.
  4. Steve Q replied to Anton8's topic in Audi Recalls
Glad you got it back. Let's hope the recall gets done quickly so you can charge it 100% again
  5. No probs. As I say I went off what's for sake currently on autotrader. And all the ones with 204ps aren't listed as hybrid. But looking at Derek's comment it looks like I could be wrong as he has first hand experience of the A5.
  6. Can't say I've heard of it. You could always get it checked by Audi or an independent Audi specialist
  7. Sorry to hear of your situation and for the delayed reply. p0299 indicates turbo under boost. Before writing off the turbo if get your mechanic to check the turbo pipes, as over time these can perish and where they attach to the turbo they can let sir through when under pressure but would look fine when not under pressure if that makes sense. Your second fault code 05171 supports my theory as it implies a boost leak from a pipe or similar.
  8. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 yep it can be changed. You're probably best going for an aftermarket apple car play/android auto set up. You can buy these online.
  9. Definitely worth a shot but I'd still recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up for the dpf. You could look at having it professionally cleaned but this may only buy you time.
  10. If bought from a dealer I'd recommend getting it back to them for a diagnostic as they should fix it free of charge if bought within the last 30 days.

If the dipstick is showing ok then I'd say it's the oil.levdl sensor at fault. You'll need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  12. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  13. That's good if that's the case. Audi could definitely tell you.
  14. It might be worth you speaking to Audi to see if they can tell you.
  15. I think this is pointing to the fuel pump. I'd suspect the high pressure fuel pump. But this doesn't explain the epc light. The alternative thing could be to get the battery tested to see if it's working correctly. Just in case it's failing and throwing up fault codes.
  16. Might be worth you speaking to autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them and been pleased with the results
  17. Steve Q replied to a post in a topic in Audi A4 (B8) Forum
Darn, at least it was worth a shot. Could be an issue with the megatronics unit.
  18. You're most welcome 🙂 please keep us posted on how you get on with the retrofit.
  19. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  20. Glad you got sorted. Thanks for updating us.

When was the gearbox oil last changed? Old oil can sometimes cause issues with selecting gears.
  22. Please have a look at one of the advertisers at the bottom of the website as they do custom hoses. Club members get 10% off.
  23. If you use a vin decoder it should help tell you what spec you have. Or a sticker in the boot wheel well with various codes.
  24. I think you'll need to get this booked into the main dealer as MMI issues are well documented.
  25. Looking on autotrader of 24 models onwards most are not hybrid and all the 204ps ones aren't hybrid.
