  1. Will do James, thank you :)
  2. LMAO Paul 😂
  3. Bet you can't wait to collect it now! I'm looking forward to seeing the results :)
  4. Welcome to the forum James, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch. Think the metal trims look great! :) Cheers Steve
  5. Hi Tony, My advice would be to get it to Audi as the car needs a diagnostic check carried out. Have you had any other electrical items play up.on the car lately? I ask as I'm wondering if an electrical item is draining the battery. Hopefully with any luck you'll still have warranty on it. If not then they should hopefully be able to provide some factory good will (discount) in light of the age of the car. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  6. Welcome to the forum Pat, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) As a general rule ultra is just another spec Audi offer and the engine and gearbox are not modified. This is the same for s line models except they get lowered suspension. The ultrab is a very nice spec :) If you are hankering after an ultra model then I'd wait 6 months to get that model. I know if it were me I'd have to live with the regret! With regard to the 2.0tdi engine check to see if it's had the emissions recall carried out and if so when. If the car is for sale shortly after the recall then I'd be asking questions as to why. Here's a couple of threads for more info: Also here is a buyer's guide I've found on YouTube: Are you looking at a manual or auto? And are you after one with Quattro? Cheers Steve
  7. Welcome to the forum Charlie, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) To answer question 2 yes it will make a difference, it should improve the rude. With regard to question 3, yes alot of wheels from older models will fit :) Here's a link to a thread I've done with 2 links for info on Audi wheel sizes. Hope it's useful :) Cheers Steve
  8. Definitely agree with Mark, gloss black all the way :) Glad your a3 is coming along nicely patrick :)
  9. Hmm, I wouldn't suspect it was genuine if there is no Audi part number but Audi are correct in saying the grill doesn't fit. Obviously it can be modified to fit as proven with your a3. The only thing I can advise is either look through the service history to see if there is an invoice for the grill or contact the previous owner. Sorry I can't help more. Cheer Steve
  10. Don't worry Piotr, I'll give you a sticker at Beaulieu :)
  11. Hi Sashi, I'm wondering if one of the and sensors has failed or the connection point for the sensor has got rust or dirt on it? If it has then lightly sanding it may help to restore the connection. But the first thing I'd advise is a diagnostic check to see what fault codes flag up. Cheers Steve
  12. Sorry you all received this and top work by Paul for acting on this so quickly. Gareth does raise a good point and that new members should be restricted as to when they can send private messages. I'm thinking any thing less than 10-20 posts before they can private message. What do you think? Trevor is the administrator for this forum along with similar ones such as the bmwownersclub.com and Toyota owners club.com etc. Owners of the sites basically get money from advertising, hence all the ads and Trevor works for them. Paul, Bradley and I moderate just this forum. Cheers Steve
  13. Correct Graham :) Here's a new one, it's a medical drama.
  14. Welcome to the forum James, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Bet you can't wait to get your A4 :) Your a4 will have been built either in Ingolstadt or Neckarsulm in Germany. The dealer should be able to tell you the exact build location from the VIN. Cheers Steve
  15. Correct Mark :) Here's a new one. Probably easy though!
  16. Glad we could help:) Cheers Steve
  17. Now that's a proper Landy, We had a defender 90 and loved it! Here's a couple of pics :) You've gone for a great spec, colour is great and then some nice options too :) Cheers Steve
  18. Nice one :) Rust on front wings is a common fault on vag cars from this era including a3, a4, a6, golf, Bora to name a few. It's due to foam inserts attached to the inside of the arch between the metal and arch liner. However the foam retains the moisture and thus causes the rust. The only proper cure is to have the wings replaced which will cost you around £1000 all in. I paid this approx on my a6. Obviously you could botch it with filler but this is only a short term answer. Cheers Steve
