  1. Id never let go of the steering wheel in my opinion regardless of weather conditions. Let go of the accelerator and drive in the highest gear possible is the main advice. My key question would be, what road were you driving on to go 30mph? If there's ice and snow I always venture on the side of caution unless I know the roads clear. Cheers Steve
  2. Gritters, what are they? I can't say I've seen any whilst I've been out in this weather!
  3. Yep :) have you guessed the new one Paul?
  4. Same here in the Midlands!
  5. Correct Paul :). however in.tbe states it was called a fox. Here's a new one, it's a Scottish detective series.
  6. Glad you crossed the updated cars off your list. I would suspect that there is a way of finding out via vcds however I don't know the version number I'm affraid. To be fair, any car you're looking at purchasing the dealer should be happy to oblige when you explain the reason. Better still there should be a certificate to show the recall has been completed and stamped by the Audi dealer who carried out the recall. This is how it worked at volkswagen. Cheers Steve
  7. Does look very nice overall but.im still unsure about the new Audi grill.
  8. I'll say you got that one Paul and move on to the next one. But before I do, can you guess the Audi?!
  9. It definitely looks better ;) Erm I think it depends on the spec and what media system and MMI it has.
  10. Correct Paul!! Here's another oldie! This is from.a marvel tv series from the 70s.
  11. Hi Logan, when I worked at volkswagen we saw alot of cars come in for the emissions recall but would have recorded dpf issues stored on the ecu as well as egr issues. We'd also have cars have issues after the recall but vag stand point is that these issues aren't connected. If it we're me I wouldn't be touching a vag car if it's had the emissions recall and up for sale shortly after. Have a look under the recall section as there is lots of info. Buy basically any vag diesel made after 2006 could be affected. Cheers Steve
  12. LMAO! Well here's a new one that unfortunately isn't cheery but should be an easy one to guess! 😉
  13. Correct Mark! I'll try and find a cheerful one now lol
  14. Don't blame you! I didn't t think the glue will dry in -7 degrees too well.
  15. LMAO correct Paul! Here's another one and again it's a love story (if you can call fifty shades that lol) The film.is from 2014.
  16. Glad you got sorted Gareth :) you've got me thinking to switch over now! :)
  17. Welcome to the forum Fabio, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Nice seeing you on here after speaking on facebook. Don't hesitate to ask any questions :) Cheers Steve
  18. Nice one :) Glad it's a clean break as that makes it far easier. You'd probably have to hold the mirror in situ for 2-3 minutes atleast for the glue to set. Most of the glues take 24 hours to dry. I'd say it would take even longer in the cold temperatures. Cheers Steve
  19. Oh dear, did the garage say what exactly is wrong? I think you'd have more luck finding another Audi engine from the same era if you want it to fit straight in. The mk2 Quattro springs to mind ;)
  20. Here's a new one. The clue is that it's a 2018 released film.
  21. Hi Andrew, I've found these two YouTube videos which may help: However at a guess I'd say leave the ignition on because if you turn it off the car may try and put the electronic handbrake on automatically which it is designed to do. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
