  1. Welcome to the forum Ryan, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Unfortunately there isn't and the only way around it is by paying Audi to activate it. Cheers Steve
  2. Wish I could help Gareth but I'm with the AA but I have thought about switching to green flag though. I would never have RAC cover in light of a family members bad experience.
  3. You're welcome, sorry I can't help more.
  4. On seeing the part in question I can tell silicone sealer is t going to work. It's a rubber grommet that protects the paint from rubbing against the light cluster. I would suspect a local motor factors will have something suitable. I've not been able to source the Audi part number, sorry. Cheers Steve
  5. How did you guess lol 😂 Here's a new one. This a1 was in an Australian TV series. I can't give a bigger clue than that lol
  6. Come on, anyone can guess this one! It's the easiest one so far!! :)
  7. Glad the car is back together Paul. At least it has all gone back together and means you have time to source a replacement bumper :) Cheers Steve
  8. I'm having a bit of a mind blank. Have you got a picture if the part in question? And yea silicone sealer should do the trick :)
  9. Hi Pete, I'm assuming you mean the rubber cap that covers the bulb after you've changed it? Also water in the light cluster is die to failed light seals. However some members have found drilling small holes I to the bottom of the cluster solves the problem. Cheers Steve
  10. Welcome to the forum Allan, sorry this post hasn't been responded to yet. The members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Bet you can't wait to get your Q2! We'd love to hear your experience of Audi's brand new model :) I would suspect that both your phones will be compatible for phone calls but unsure about music connectivity to be honest. Cheers Steve
  11. You're welcome, glad I could help :) Cheers Steve
  12. Well if you get the cambelt and water pump carried out at Audi, you might be able to bag a free diagnostic check ;) if you don't ask you don't get. As I say, there might be some factory good will.on.the door component that has failed as it shouldn't have failed so soon. They'll do a free vehicle health check as well. Cheers Steve
  13. Better to get it done to be on the safe side. As Adam has said though, Audi dealers can do it at a fixed price and it's definitely worth ringing around your local.dealers to see who can do it cheaper :) it'll be a cambelt and water pump change. Cheers Steve
  14. Hello Thaddeus, it certainly is an odd combination for your TT however the colour looks amazing! The e39 is a cracking BMW and no surprise it's a keeper! Best 5 series in my opinion :) The normal headlights are more than adequate in my opinion. With any car you're looking at, make sure all electronic items work as some of them can be expensive to fix. This includes the air con and headlights. If the car has xenons then make sure all likes work as bulbs can cost £180 approx each. Also as you are wanting a car with Quattro make sure it works correctly. The system can be sensitive and can even be damaged by uneven tyre wear. So make sure the tyres have the same wear on the same axle and ideally they should be the same make. If you are looking at a remap then you'll need to make sure the car is in good health. Also you'll have to contact your insurance company to let them know of the remap. (Sorry if I'm stating the obvious). It isn't just a case of what the engine can cope with but what the gearbox can cope with. I've found this YouTube video which may help: Also if you want Quattro and more power then it might be worth you looking at the a6 c6. Petrol engines are 2.0, 2.4, 3.2 and are all available with a manual gearbox and Quattro. this excludes the s6 and rs6 which runs on a Lamborghini v10 and is auto. Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve
  15. You're welcome, glad I could help :) Please keep us posted on how you get on or if you need any more advice :) Cheers Steve
  16. They certainly are quick! I don't even think some new builds can fit cars.
  17. Correct Paul :) Here's the easiest one ever!! I'll be making it a lot harder after this ;)
